They sent us to a cheaper hotel, I booked 2 Rooms, given only 1 Room, and Refund REFUSED

We arrived at midnight only to be told, after waiting more than 30 minutes, that our rooms had been given to other guests. After nearly an hour at the reception and only after I firmly insisted that the hotel provide accommodation, we were finally offered a room in a different, lower-category hotel next door. Our reservation was for two rooms for five people (three adults and two children), but we were forced to spend the night in a single triple room.
The situation was unacceptable, but what followed was even worse. Despite acknowledging their mistake, the hotel REFUSED to provide any refund, even for the difference in room rates. Multiple requests through Booking.com and direct emails to the hotel were ignored.
Terrible customer service, no accountability, and no respect for guests. Avoid this hotel.

Pros:

Hôtel sympa et personnel sympa. Les chambres été propre.

Cons:

La femme de chambre n’a pas su me donner de nouvelles serviettes. L’hôtel est au milieu de nulle part. Voiture obligée pour l’endroit.

Une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre 119 et pas de taie d'oreiller ni serviettes de bains.
Comble, nous avions réservé une chambre supérieure mais à notre arrivé on nous a informé qu'il n'y avait plus de disponibilité donc nous obtenu une chambre double standard avec un "désolé mais nous pouvons vous offrir un café demain matin"
