Exactly as described in the photos, but better. Lots of antique furniture, bold colors, high ceilings, and charm. Close to the Medina but better, because it's more accessible. Old-world charm for facilities, staff and service. Such a unique stay on our trip.

We loved our stay at Lalla Soulika! We stayed at 5 different hotels in Morocco and this was the highlight by far, even beating out the four seasons at Casablanca. This property is very well maintained and clean. The owners clearly see this place as a labor of love and continue to improve it every year with new additions. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable with gorgeous interior design. The staff is very friendly. The view from the roof is better than any rooftop bar in the city. The food and drink is just as good and they go above and beyond and provide light snacks (eg cured meats and cheese) with every drink. The location is excellent and everything is accessible by foot. At the time of this review, they also have 2 of the cutest little puppies that are onsite and really the cherry on top of the whole experience.

Staff, room was amazing

Everything. We booked last minute for our 25th anniversary. We wanted a beautiful Moroccan experience and we got that x 100. We had the 3rd floor with the most incredible double terrace and hot tub. The property was enormous and beautifully styled. We had dinner on our terrace. Breakfast was sensational. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They helped with an earlier arrival and late check out. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is a 5 minute walk to the Medina and we were even greeted by 2 of the cutest dogs. We could not have wished for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day. I was like a giddy school girl from when we first saw our gorgeous room to when we left. Thank you everyone. We will find a time to return.

Breakfast was lovely. Served at the table, we sat every morning in the sunshine of the beautiful rooftop garden. Eggs, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, jams, and more! We loved it all.

What a fantastic boutique hotel. The location is great, very close to the kasbah and medina. The hotel is exquisitly decorated with such great niches to sit and relax both inside and outside. We had drinks on the rooftop and dined by candlelight on the patio. Our delicious breakfast was on the rooftop with a fantastic view. The staff is excellent and very accommodating with allowing us to leave our bags early in the morning so we could explore the city. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and we would love to return once again in the future.

We stayed at Lalla Salouka in March with my husband, and everything was amazing.
From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. A member of staff met us and helped us park the car, which was a very nice start to our stay. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional.
The room was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. We also really appreciated the attention to detail — there were different sweets and little candies in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The interior of both the room and the hotel was absolutely lovely — very stylish, elegant, and full of character. We especially loved the English room and the bar. Another unforgettable detail was the adorable puppies in the inner courtyard — we fell in love with them immediately.
The breakfast was also very good and we really enjoyed it.
We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Tangier. Everything was wonderful!

Just the most delightful place to stay. We bookended our holiday to Fez & Meknes here. Will be back!

Nel nostro ultimo viaggio in Marocco è stato decisamente il posto piu' bello dove abbiamo soggiornato e decisamente più affascinante di altri posti più famosi nelle guide. Un accoglienza super come le attenzioni ricevute in un contesto bellissimo, centralissimo e comodo per visitare Tangeri e lasciarsi ammaliare dal suo fascino. Con alcuni dei ristoranti migliori come lo strepitoso El Morocco Club vicinissimi. Colazione super e tantissima attenzione ai dettagli, varie possibilità di fare colazione compreso il terrazzo. Un posto decisamente eccezionale anche come rapporto qualità prezzo
