STAY AWAY - WA,YYY Oveer Priced AND VERY DIRTY HOTEL.

The only thing i liked was the way the Tesdenya (marketing manager) the person who replies on booking.com tried to handle everything. Her attitude was helpful in a crisis situation.

Cons:

Under the bed had dirt, which looked more than 2 years old. The bed itself was in a bad state of disrepair, and finally, cockroaches in the bed. This is a certain unacceptable standard. The rate for this hotel is £95 per night. But the standard was basic guest house standard. I ordered fish from the restaurant that was basically CREAMATED, and none of the food they sever is fresh. It was all MICROWAVED DISHES. AND I COULD TATSE IT IN THE FOOD. FINALLY. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE HOT WATER, THEY SENT SOMEONE TO THE ROOM, AND HE JUST TOLD ME THE WATER WILL GO HOT THEN COLD AND THEN HE JUST LEFT. I DIDKNT GET THE FILL USE OF THE STAY I HAD BOOKED....
FINALLY. THE ROOM I BOOKED, I DIDN'T GET. THEY CHANGED MY ROOM WITHOUT WARNING OR APPROVAL FROM ME. THIS IS DISGUSTING SERVICE

Pros:

The staff was excellent specially the receptionists and the house keeping.

Cons:

Food was costly and not tasty. A lot of noise early in the morning which was quite disturbing

Pros:

This is more like a hostel than hotel.the place is dirty and unpleasant .the place is in a dirt road and waterlock. Very old with outdated furniture..corridors are dirty and needs urgent revamping
Nothing like what you see on booking.com.The place needs complete revamping for sure.The only thing good is they have free shuttle to and from the airport .

Cons:

The price you see is not worth paying..The presentation of breakfast is unpleasant and less than basic.The bed is a rock solid piece of foam mattress and painful to sleep on ..aswell as the 2 pillows provided.Construction site directly next to this place.The noise level of equipment use is horrendous.No kettle for tea is provided.I had a 3 day layover but had to vacate immediately the following morning due to the noise level in your room.
Its unfortunate for the hotel to get this review but its the truth instead of reading all the patrons misleading comments .I am a active traveller and hotel user and hardly gives negative comments. But this is truly my honest view of Lobelia Hotel
