Ich habe es genossen, in der Unterkunft Amazon tucuxi zu wohnen. Sie liegt an einem Seitenarm des Amazonas in einer wunderschönen Regenwaldlandschaft. Mein Zimmer war gut gegen Moskitos geschützt und sauber. Liseth und Willer sind sehr liebenswerte Leute. Immer habe ich mich wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Es war sehr angenehm, ihr Gast zu sein. Als ich am letzten Tag Husten bekommen hatte, erhielt ich sogar selbst zubereitete, wohlschmeckende und wirkungsvolle Medizin. Es war auch nicht schwer, dahin zu gelangen. Liseth hat mir alle Informationen dazu geschrieben und Willer hat mich vom Puerto abgeholt und sogar meinen Rucksack getragen. Dadurch, dass die Unterkunft Teil eines Dorfes ist, erhielt ich einen sehr interessanten Einblick in das Leben im Regenwald. Enrique, mein Guia, hat mir so viel Lehrreiches und Beeindruckendes auf dem Amazonas und im Regenwald gezeigt. Es ist enorm, was er über Pflanzen, Bäume und Tiere weiß. Jederzeit würde ich wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Ein Aufenthalt dort ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Si vous ne voulez plus vivre hors-sol en voyage, n’hésitez plus ! On vit avec nos hôtes, comme nos hôtes (très agréables). Le peu d’électricité ne manque pas, nous nous rafraichissons grâce aux délicieux refrescos et aux ventilateurs manuels, les éventails. La nourriture est délicieuse. Des visites peuvent être organisées avec les personnes de la communauté (pêche, excursion en jungle, ...). On est situé juste en face de l’île aux singes.
Nos hôtes sont bienveillants et cela fait du bien!

Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit bei Lizet und ihrem Mann Willer. Beide sind so liebenswürdige Gastgeber, sie haben sich um mich gekümmert als ich zu ihrer Familie gehöre. Das Essen war sehr gut, Lizet ist eine tolle Köchin. Das Programm der Touren kann man individuell zusammenstellen lassen, es war alles super organisiert und als Alleinreisende und das erste Mal im Amazonas hatte ich eine fantastische Zeit, wo ich mich immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt habe. Gerne wäre ich noch länger geblieben und ich freue mich schon ein ander Mal wieder zurèckzukehren, vielleicht sogar in der Regenzeit. Zudem ist der Guide des Dorfes, Don Enrique, fantastisch, er kennt die Gegend wie seine Westentasche und ich hatte eine fantastische Zeit auf den Touren mit ihm.

Very convenient and located inside the selva that made you see and feel the pulse of the Amazon. The only way to explore and be part of a family of locals. Superb guiding by the hosts and their guides as experts in the area. Good local food and sustainability . An experience to remember.

El albergue es cómodo, esta ubicado justo al frente de la isla de los monos. Lisete y Wilder son unos super anfitriones, preocupados por cada detalle. Desde el albergue puedes escuchar a muchos animales en su habitat natural, ademas ofrecen tours privados a diferentes puntos turísticos por un precio adicional

Hosts were very nice. House and the room are basic but nice and clean, free from bugs. In this location, it is possible to experience the authentic life of local people. Food was traditional and tasty. There was no internet and limited electricity for us it was a plus. Bring enough cash!

Absolutely beautiful place, an oasis of peace and calm after the hectic city of Iquitos. It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.

I spent two unforgettable nights at this jungle lodge near Monkey Island, completely immersed in nature. The two owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. Their way of life is truly authentic—electricity is only available in the afternoon, and everything feels deeply connected to the jungle. One of the highlights was visiting a nearby village and playing football with the locals, which made the experience even more special. If you want a genuine Amazon adventure, this is the place to be!

We spent four days with Liseth and her husband, Will. They helped us with our arrival and picked us up from Monkey Island with their boat. The food was delicious and healthy, made entirely from natural ingredients sourced locally and from their garden. Water, tea, and coffee were freely available. Everything was very clean and well-protected with mosquito nets. In the evenings, we could charge our devices.

We also went on various jungle tours, tried fishing, spotted dolphins, petted monkeys and sloths, and chatted with the locals. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms. There were very few tourists, making the experience truly authentic. My sister is a vegetarian, and her dietary needs were thoughtfully accommodated.

We had so much fun, and our guide Asuco is an absolute expert in flora and fauna—highly recommended!

You can even try hunting your own frog and doing Kambo if you like.

For anyone seeking an authentic Amazon experience, Liseth and Will are the best choice.

I also found the accommodation very affordable. Meals are included in the tours, and you don’t really have to worry about anything. Just let them know what you’d like to see and do.

I enjoyed the place which is surrounded by forest and also close to money island. The hosts are very friendly. I enjoyed the time spent there very much.

It’s located in the Amazon jungle and lets you experience this beautiful location.

If you love the nature and people then this place is amazing to come to rest and explore the greatness of the amazon. I rarely write reviews but this place deserves it. Its more the friendlyness of the hosts lissette her husband that make the stay so good, they take care of you and treat you like one of their family, they cook delicious food, which is highly necessary when your day is packed with adventures in the amazona. Accept that internet is non existing and enjoy the nature.

Ps. For a very reasonable price you can get tours around the place by a local guide who know all and everything of the regio, enrique is great to be around and allot of fun.
