Great value for such quality accommodation nearTaipei.
Pros:

With a typhoon passing by it was stormy and wet so it was lifesaving that we could drive into the underground car park and take a lift to the room. The breakfast was superb. It the morning the staff assisted with the considerable problems we faced returning the hire car when Taipei was paralysed by the weather.

Cons:

Nothing. Best accommodation we had in 9 days in Taiwan.

A great stay. Comfortable and relaxing.
Pros:

Well kept and maintained. Clean and functional, as well as a nice looking design. Has internationally compatible power sockets. Nice location in nature reserve, (but you need to have your own transport). Staff provided infant facilities (cot, steriliser, baby bath) in the room in advance per their proactive suggestion.
Rooms had good noise insulation, and also good view of the river and bridge.
Car park was directly connected to the lift to lobby and room, making moving bags easy.

Cons:

The hotel restaurant is not yet build, there are no restaurants in walking distance, and even if you have a car, those in the nearby town close by 7pm.
