Luxurious stay in historic area of Valleta
Pros:

Location was one street back from the Grand Harbour, in a beautiful and historic area of Valleta.Building has been very tastefully restored to high standard, modern lift to our 4th floor apartment.We had a traditional balcony in our room, with harbour view. There was a freestanding bath in the bedroom with plenty of hot water to fill it. The ensuite bathroom was immaculate and had a walk in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities, daily supply of drinking water and fridge in the room, plus complementary bottle of local wine ( tap water isn't drinkable in Malta).
We were greeted on arrival by the very friendly manager of the property. The entry system was straightforward.

Cons:

Directions to the property could have been clearer. We initially went to number 19 Battery Street, which looks directly onto the harbour, before realizing it was the stepped street behind that where Battery House stood.

Lovely old building in a fantastic location
Pros:

Lovely old traditional Maltese building that's been decorated beautifully. It's in a great location for the bus station and ferry port but also very close to shops and restaurants too - I can recommend Elephant Shoe for breakfast/brunch, it's around a 3-minute walk from Battery House. Bed is super comfy (it's lovely and quiet to sleep at night) and bathroom is lovely and spacious too. Also, loved the coffee machine in the room so that I could make myself a proper coffee every morning. Apartments are over 4/5 floors, but there is a lift, which was very welcome as Valletta is hilly!

Cons:

Not really a complaint but we did have to be careful about how long we spent in the shower - the first morning I had a nice long shower and then there was no hot water left for my boyfriend!

Superb stay in Valletta
Pros:

This accommodation is on a quiet pedestrian stepped street and is in a great location for walking to the main sights in Valletta, the ferry to the 3 Cities and to Gozo and close to many restaurants. Our attractive room was a good size, had a comfortable bed, two comfortable chairs and a desk, a fridge and both a bath and a shower. There is a lift to reach the upper floors of the building. Communications with the owner via Whatsapp worked well. We would certainly stay again if returning to Valletta.

Cons:

The accommodation is on a pedestrian street so our taxi had to drop us off nearby and we had to bounce our suitcase down the steps to reach the building - could be problematic for the less able. The accommodation has remote check in and access via an access code for both the building and room which worked well apart from the evening when there was a power cut when we returned from dinner and we could not use the code to unlock the front door. We phoned the owner who told us how to access the back up physical key so we could get into the building (the room access codes still worked). The downside of the powercut was that the lift was not working so we had to climb the stairs to our room. There is very little parking close to the accommodation so if hiring a car it may be necessary to park a short distance away in Floriana at the MCP car park.

Pros:

The location was phenomenal! Steps away from the Upper Baraka Gardens. The room was spacious and nice. No view, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room.
The complementary bar in the lobby and the wine in the room were a nice touch. It was a bit surprising to find there was no real staff, such as a concierge, but it was still a lovely place to stay and a great location. It would have been nice to have little things like body lotion, q tips and robes, but we would still stay again.

Nice large room with a Maltese balcony.
Beautiful entrance and courtyard.

Cons:

The steps but that is part of Valetta. The taxi dropped us at the bottom of the road and we had to carry the luggage up the steps.
Perhaps better lighting at night and sinage.8

Excellence en tout
Pros:

Accueil très hospitalier et atentionné de la part du propriètaire, chambre luxueuse, moderne, literie super confortable, terrasse donnant sur le port de La Valette, tout le ́nécessaire dans le bar, position excellente avec vue sur la mer et les 3 Villes. Bâtiment silencieux, prix super correct surtout à l'approche des fêtes de fin d'année! J’ai adoré, j’y reviendrai avec plaisir!
