El lloc es fabulos

Cons:

El personal es poc professional. Tarden moltissim a fer qualsevol cosa, s obliden... es una llastima perque el lloc es fantastic

Nous avons pu profiter des activités et nous reposer dans un très beau cadre comme prevu
Pros:

L'emplacement est fidèle à la description. Nous avons aimé les valeurs des personnes ayant créé le lieux.
Le lieu était très paisible et bcp d'aménagement pour se reposer.
La cuisine est très bonne. Merci!

Cons:

1 des petits lits était un peu ferme.
Notre logement était mitoyen, sous le même toit qu'un autre logement. Nous entendions bcp les voisins et donc nous devions aussi faire très attention au bruit car nous n'avions pas le même rythme. Je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit précisé dans la description du logement.

Séjour au calme pour visiter l’île
Pros:

Accès plage privé.
Environnement calme.

Cons:

Le retour en bateau collectif était dangereux au vue de la houle et de la conduite très rapide. Privilégier le transfert proposé par l’hôtel via Baru.

Pros:

Centro Ubuntu ist ein Öko-Resort und entsprechend ausgerichtet. Schöne Lage am Wasser mit kleinem Strand. Super nettes Personal und alles immer frisch zubereitet.

Tranquilidad y descanso real
Pros:

La tranquilidad que se siente. La comodidad de las cabañas y todas sus instalaciones. El concepto de ser un hotel ecológico le da una conexión muy especial con la naturaleza y la comunidad.

Experiència autèntica, unica i inoblidable
Pros:

Ubuntu és un espai molt especial. No és un lloc fet per algú que busqui luxe, però sí per viure una experiència autèntica en una illa del Carib amb totes les comoditats. La ubicació és privilegiada, amb el moll amb les tumbones i l’accés directe a la platja a tocar. El menjar, tant esmorzar, dinar com sopar estava molt bo. Recomano provar la llimonada de coco, deliciosa!

Cons:

Pel preu, podria incloure com a mínim l’àpat de l’esmorzar, ja que tot són extres.
Llàstima que la segona nit i havia música forta a un lloc proper a l’hotel i costava dormir.

Glad we stayed a few days
Pros:

Beautiful location, helpful staff. Overall, the ambiance was low key and family-like. Island was walkable (no cars) and there were many restaurants/bars to choose from. We stayed 3 nights and were glad we didn’t opt for a day trip

Cons:

We would have benefitted from more light in the room. Bring your bug spray!

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Centro Ubuntu. The location is ideal with private beach access just a few steps from the room. The cabaña was clean, comfortable and well equipped with mosquito nets, towels etc. The restaurant on site makes tasty food and has some Vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were given a nice welcome, detailed insights on Ubuntu and the island and the possibility to book activities. We were also kindly allowed to leave our luggage before and after check in.

Cons:

On the day of our departure, weather conditions meant the transportation company couldn’t pick us up on Isla Grande and we had to stay an extra night. That was obviously nobody’s fault. At first, we were told that Ubuntu might be able to host us for another night at a “good discount” to help us out. Later, management declined this and it was then communicated that the maximum discount would have anyway been 10% on consumption only (which is already very reasonably priced). Since the room at Ubuntu is 3x the price of similar cabañas nearby (without beachfront), we went looking for an alternative place. We were offered significant discounts everywhere we went, as the island was essentially empty since no new guests could arrive.
We decided to move, and were surprised about the fact the place where we had stayed and eaten every single meal for four days was the only one charging us full price. Centro Ubuntu highlights community as one of their core values. Community is not what we felt upon leaving.

Great location and great people
Pros:

The location and the people are exceptional always paying attention . Kids friendly.The rooms are comfortable despite the limited access to resources. The eco- concept is also valuable.

Cons:

While playing the « eco » card comes at cost, the value for money is not favourable . Noise from neighbouring bar (music during the day, generator early morning)

5 estrellas no son suficiente..

El sitio? Sencillamente y verdaderamente un paraíso! Todo muy curado, limpio y confortable. Nuestra cabańa estaba muy fresca. Hay agua y corriente durante todo el día - en otros hostales de la isla no es así.

El equipo? Te acoge como si fueras familia. Carolina siempre super gentil, profesional y confiable. Nos ayudó mucho en planear ida/vuelta y otras planes de viaje.
Las chicas de la cocina encantadoras!! Mis amigas y yo estuvimos muy contentas de llegar a conocerlas como amigas. Nos han cuidado mucho!.

La comida? Superlativa. Pescado y fruta siempre frescos. Platos de la cocina local deliciosamente bien hechos.

Si no hubiera vivido en la otra parte del mundo habría vuelto a Ubuntu por lo menos una vez a l’ańo. Sin duda se quedará en mi corazón! Gracias por todo!Valentina Jane y Benny

Super eco hotel avec plage privée et excursions privées

Personnel très sympa et avenant, l'emplacement est génial dans un super cadre d'une super ile. Très belles excursions privées également

Pros:

Domki z widokiem na morze są ok, blisko do pomostu z leżakami. Śniadania ok, choć bez rewelacji. Na pewno godny polecenia jest sposób transportu z/do Cartageny zaproponowany przez obsługę ośrodka.

Cons:

Brak ciepłej wody pod prysznicem, kiepska oferta w restauracji, ale niedaleko, ze 100 metrów obok jest fajna i smaczna restauracja.
