Pros:

Si tratta di un hotel inserito in una villa di dimensioni molto grandi, con un parco esterno e una vista invidiabili sul lago di Varese e sulle montagne.
Colazione ottima e abbondante, servita su un intervallo di tempo molto ampio.

Cons:

Il parcheggio esterno sembrava insufficiente anche se la struttura non era piena.
Come spesso accade, l'isolamento acustico tra le camere era molto scarso.
Il bagno ristrutturato ha mantenuto la vasca da bagno, ma mancava una protezione che consentisse una doccia senza la necessità di allagare tutto; di conseguenza, mancava anche la possibilità di agganciare in alto il doccino.

Varese is er gezellige stad. Restaurant op 5 minuten lopen. Gratis parkeren, goed internet
Pros:

Prachtig monumentaal pand. Was vroeger een pauselijk verblijf. Het restaurant was niet meer beschikbaar voor stellen, wel voor reisgezelschappen.
Ontbijt was prima. Weinig energie gestoken in ‘aankleding’ van de ruimten

Einzelzimmer ok für eine Übernachtung
Pros:

Das Zimmer hat seinen Zweck erfüllt.

Cons:

Die Toilettenspülung hat immer wieder gegurgelt in der Nacht, was mich etwas um den Schlaf gebracht hat. Das Kopfteil des Bettes hatte Fettflecken.
