I loved the extremely helpful manager and staff. They put me in contact with a very good local guide. Altogether they made my trip both interesting and pleasant. My room was also very comfortable and clean, the restaurant good and convenient. I felt welcome. Would definitely go back.

The AC and location

A good comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Alberto can arrange good visits, with a helpful guide, to the Amazon rainforest in Peru and also the Lago Tarapoto. In both locations there is lots of wildlife to see, including sloths, grey and pink dolphins and numerous birds. Good breakfast included and lunch at a very reasonable price

The rooms were very comfortable with a strong fan and air-conditioner. Breakfast was very good--fresh and included in the price. The location is excellent to the port and within a short walking distance from all the attractions in town. The owner or manager is very helpful if you need a guide to show you around town or take tours. There are tour agencies around town as well and some people who are experienced in certain activities. It's a great place to start your own walking tour as well. It's very nice to come back to a clean room, shower and cool off.

Had a wonderful experience in the hotel. Good clean rooms (with airco, very much needed here!), nice food, and great and helpful staff. We came here without a tour and they linked us to a guide who showed us around many different activities in the Amazon. 10/10 would come back. Thanks to Luis and Alberto

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en Puerto Nariño con un acceso fácil a todos los puntos de interés del pueblo. Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y cómodas, y el personal fue muy amable y atento durante toda la estancia. La experiencia fue tranquila y perfecta para descansar después de las excursiones.

Airconditioning was a blessing on a particularly scorching day. My boat left at 7am in the morning but they made sure I was able to have breakfast before I left, even though breakfast normally doesn’t start until 7.

The Wikungo hotel is located in the centre of Puerto Nariño, but very silent and comfortable. Rooms are clean and cozy, and security is guaranteed. You have a bed and a small desk in the room, and WiFi connection at the entrance. The staff are also very kind!
