There was never any contact with the owner. She never answered her phone, her mailbox was full so couldn't leave a message. Tried contacting through Booking.com and email, even drove to the property. NOTHING. Probably in Mexico on the beach.
There was nothing that I like.
It was a scam, I didn’t got the room that I paid for. When I reached the house , there was a small bed in the unfurnished basement that the owner of the property never showed in the pictures when I paid for it. I tried calling the property owner but she ignored my calls and text and I have to leave the place mid of night because the place was hell out of the shit for someone to stay.
Our reservation was confirmed with the option to pay when we arrived at the property. When we called to let the owner know we were running about half an hour late, we were informed that the room was no longer available. Caused a huge disruption to our travel plans. Huge disappointment!
I didn’t get the property because they cancelled my day, even though I had a booking that said Pay on arrival I didn’t actually get to stay. I got to sleep on that day so that was really nice that I Win bank with a place that I rented and they cancelled it without letting me know. I wouldn’t even have found out. I got cancelled if I had not called to see what kind of payment was accepted, which was an hour before I was supposed to be a while.
I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t tell me my book booking was cancelled and even though I said I would pay on arrival they said that somebody else paid so they’re giving the booking to them and then I got to sleep on the street with my dog cause I had nowhere to stay while I was in Winnipeg and it rained so that was fabulous. The lady was not responsive at all and quite a jerk when I called
I’m sure it would’ve been a fabulous place if I had gotten to stay however I met a lot of people on the street that night and I gave them all pairs that I picked so that was wonderful
The main floor room was big and well equipped, I had a great sleep on the large comfy bed. The ice maker on the fridge in the kitchen is always appreciated!
