Good place to stay in Kandy
Pros:

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Property is well maintained. Good, clean bathrooms. Very frindly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money.

IT WAS PERFECT. The beds were comfy room was big. Bathroom WAS PERFECT. Perfect A/C. Staff was friendly and kind. Good breakfast.

Pros:

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The host didn’t greet us properly upon arrival, which set a negative tone. The room was quite basic, with just a bed and furniture, but the bathroom was far from satisfactory — it was unclean, with used shampoo, shower gel, and only half a tissue box left. There were no essential amenities or basic supplies we needed. The balcony was useless, offering only a view of buildings, and the TV didn’t work properly.

The staff, particularly the lady working there, showed a lack of professionalism and manners. She treated us with a fake smile, especially towards foreigners, and was dismissive. Breakfast was minimal, and she kept rushing us to wash our hands before we finished eating, with no kindness or hospitality shown. We were also not offered any drinks or fruits afterward.
Overall, the place felt fake, with unfriendly service and a lack of genuine care. Not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or welcoming stay.

Great stay in Kandy
Pros:

Absolutely lovely room- done up to modern tastes, wonderful breakfast, and Mihri,who looks after the guests, did a sterling job and looked after us very well. There is a supermarket and small bakery right next to the hotel.

Cons:

It is approximately 20 minutes drive away, so you have to arrange a tuk tuk or car to transport you to the main attractions. Also, please ensure to inform the hotel if you are going to be checking in outside their usual check in hours. Some of the rooms in the hotel are still being refurbished but did not affect us at all.

Exceptional
Pros:

Excellent hospitality and rooms. Wonderful breakfast provided. The lady manager, Mihiri (please excuse if the spelling is not correct) is all in one and one in all and provided us the good hospitality.

Cons:

As the rooms are closer by trees, which is the nature, we found a cockroach inside after we are back from sightseeing. Immediately staff provided us with assistance and everything went fine.
