Convenient and clean
Pros:

The location is excellent with direct access to the old harbour and the the city.
It has a charming character and beautiful views

Cons:

I reserved the economy room as it was the only one left so I was expecting it to be basic.

The mattresses however were extremely old and uncomfortable. You could feel all the springs digging in your body. Despite this, when I complained the reception was excellent at dealing with my issue and in no time they provided a mattress topper substantial enough so I could use the bed and not feel the springs.

They also later informed me that they have ordered new mattresses as they were not aware of this issue.

Additionally, since this is an old property, there was no noise insulation between my floor and the one above me. In the mornings I could hear all the footsteps and loud voices as people were preparing for breakfast.
This didn’t last long but it was very morning and had to use earplugs.

Soggiorno fronte porto veneziano a Chania
Pros:

Il soggiorno (3 notti) è stato veramente eccellente. L'hotel si trova in un edificio storico nel porto veneziano. Camera molto bella e anche insonorizzata benissimo pur essendo a pchi metri da tutti i locali che sono pieni di gente fino a tardissima sera. Le finestre davano sul porto e la vista era pertanto fantastica. Sottolineo la gentilezza dello staff, in primis di Agostino (un valore aggiunto) che mi ha dato tanti suggerimenti su ristoranti, spiagge poco frequentate ed era sempre pronto ad una chiacchierata! Spero di tornarci!

Cons:

Il parcheggio è improponibile. Questo ovviamente non dipende dall'hotel ma dalla conformazione della città . A Chania è praticamente impossibile parcheggiare in alta stagione. Ho dovuto utilizzare un parcheggio scambiatore a 2 km dal centro con bus navetta gratuito (accettabile ma onestamente fa perdere parecchio tempo).

The property is very beautiful and it is surrounded by cute little streets full of restaurants, great views and stores. The staff members are lovely and friendly.

Cons:

Since it’s located in a place that is not accessible by car, it was a big challenge to find a parking spot. The majority of the spots near the hotel are reserved for permanent residents, and there are very few parking spaces. If you have a car in the high season, be prepared for this. We took over an hour to find a spot in the street during our first day, and the remaining days we had to leave in a private parking with fees.

Mejorar el personal
Pros:

Estar en la ciudad vieja de Chania y no necesitar ningún medio de transporte para disfrutar de los mejores atractivos de la ciudad.

Cons:

El personal. Es primera vez en Chania desde Chile. Otra cultura y otro idioma. Estábamos totalmente perdidos con muchos temas de la ciudad. El personal da muy poca orientación y digamos que nula preocupación por el bienestar del pasajero.

El estacionamiento es un grave problema y las orientación son escasas y poco claras para el nivel del hotel (4 estrellas).

Everything was perfect. The hotel was in the center of Chania, very beautiful, quiet and very clean! it had an impressive terrace from where you could see the center of Chania. we had dinner at the hotel restaurant which had super delicious food, super view and a discount since we were staying at the hotel. The employees were all very kind. A special thank you to the receptionist Mr. Agustin! thanks for everything 🙏🏻
