Julia is simply amazing and makes the planning of the trip so much easier. I will strongly recommend her to everyone who wants to do a self travel but yet still need local support.

Like what the rest shared, Julia helped to plan for the car rides and the day trip to Snow Jade Mountain, giving us some peace in mind cos we knew we could depend on her.

The driver to ShangriLa somehow did not take highway. After like 1 hour of travelling through small towns, I messaged Julia whilst still on the 3 hour ride and immediately, Julia sprang to action. The driver received a call and he re-routed to use highway instantly.

What's amazing is that my family has already checked-out from Artistic Suite and Julia still continue to give us the local support! She even went the extra mile to ask for the toll refund on our behalf! Her service just blew my mind off!

Not to forget front desk receptionist - Xiao Yang. She's another gem and makes sure my family is well taken care of during the trip.

I just want to express my gratitude to Julia for all her help. Hope anyone who visits lijiang and needs local support who can converse well in English to seriously consider Artistic Suite.

My stay in Lijiang on Artistic-Suite was perfect
Even before arriving to Lijiang Julia reached out to me to give me instructions around the pick-up and to give tips around my stay
During the stay the stuff made everything possible to make me feel like home - giving me constant advice, tips, where to eat, where to visit and helping me contact the tour guides I booked. They also were extremely kind and friendly with me
Last but not least, the hotel is in a perfect location and is clean, beautiful and with lot of space

It's a beautiful old building in an exceptional location, just around Mufu Palace. Our room was big and very comfortable, with a great view of the courtyard, a great shower and a big and very comfy bed. The room, and the bed, are very well heated. The room was also quiet and with good curtains. The staff were over the top, extremely friendly and helpful, offering us tea whenever we came back (and when we first arrived, which was a very nice touch), in particular, Julia, who was always there for us for whatever we would need. We're very grateful to her and all the staff at the hotel.

The location is excellent—within a short walk from the Market Square and Mufu Palace, yet tucked away in a quiet area perfect for a restful sleep. The architecture has an authentic old Chinese charm, while the amenities offer all the modern comforts.

Our hosts, Julia and Jeffrey, were outstanding and incredibly helpful. They speak excellent English and assisted us with everything—from arranging transportation and recommending great restaurants to suggesting must-see spots and even helping us navigate WeChat.

We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

La casa che ospita questo albergo è di grande fascino e in ottima posizione, le camere sono spaziose e complete di ogni confort. Julia e il suo staff si prodigano oltre il necessario per rendere il soggiorno piacevole. La colazione è un poco scarsa ma poi durante la giornata sono sempre disponibili thè e caffè con piccoli pasticcini. Ci é stato inoltre offerto il transfer da e per l’aeroporto, molto gradito. Best service I have experienced. The staff was extremely helpful, they arranged a smooth pickup from the airport for me. As I was leaving early in the morning for a tour, a breakfast package was prepared for me in advance. Ms. Julia even helped me fix an issue with my SIM card by calling the operator. Since I wanted to practice my Chinese, they spoke the language with me patiently the whole time.
The location is great and I loved the traditional wooden building, which made the experience even more authentic.
100% recommended.

The property is amazing. It feels like staying in a traditional Chinese house. The property manager Julia was fantastic and very attentive to my needs and provided a lot of useful information about Lijiang.

Lo staff è stato eccezionalmente disponibile e cordiale, pronto a risolvere ogni esigenza e a rendere il soggiorno speciale sin dal primo momento.

La camera era molto spaziosa, pulita e immersa in un’atmosfera rilassante che richiama la tradizione locale con dettagli moderni estremamente confortevoli.

La posizione è perfetta: centralissima nella Old Town ma tranquilla, ideale come base per visitare Lijiang senza rinunciare al relax.

Our stay in Lijiang was truly memorable, largely thanks to our amazing host, Julia. She contacted me two months in advance to check if I needed anything and took care of every request. We were warmly welcomed with snacks, and throughout our stay she kept surprising us with thoughtful treats. She shared fantastic recommendations for restaurants, cafés, and photo spots, and even assisted us perfectly when it was time to leave. The room was excellent and the location could n’t have been better, right in the heart of Lijiang Old Town. We felt genuinely cared for. Highly recommended!

First of all, Julia - the manager of the Inn, is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive, including her small Team of staff. Julia started reaching out to us well before we arrive in China via first by Whatsapp and then we communicate on WeChat. She arranged someone to pick us up from the Train Station, and later also send us back when we left. Julia also made full arrangement for us for a day trip to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, including a Driver and tickets, with not extra charges, and also discounted ticket to The Legend of Romance show.
The Inn is very nice - clean, comfortable, and very quiet - BIG room with ensuite with a BIG bathtub. The whole property just make us feel relax and welcoming. It is located about 500m from the Carpark, with lots of restaurants just 20-50m away (ask Julia, she has a good list of suggestion). It is a bit out of the busy area in the Old Town, but that's exactly what we wanted. Best of all, it is behind the Police Station of the Old Town - so probably the safest place around :)
Cannot thanks enough for Julia and her Team hospitality - the fantastic tea and fruits served when we reach "home", the chatting sharing of local info (Julia is very informative), and the small menu breakfast with fantastic coffee that's good enough for the start of the day. I have no knowledge of other accommodations in Lijiang Old Town, but if I ever go back Lijiang and Julia is there, I will certainly stay at Artistic Suite again.
