La Atención de la señora encargada.
Excelente!
Cozy and warm
Too small
The staff is super friendly
The parking is very tight, but it's free
Centrally located, well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable rooms, decent shared spaces (although we had the place to ourselves midweek), warm shower. Lady who runs it very kind and helpful.
All good.
Just off the main square, so a great location. Owner was very nice, room comfy and clean, secure facility.
Nothing
First, the town, Iza, is excellent, it really is. An untouched, un-modernized, non-tourist, small Spanish colonial village that, now, is being protected in various way so, hopefully, will not be destroyed by stupid tourist operators. Iza and Puerto Narino (on the Amazon) were the best urban places I saw in Colombia. It's even better than Mongui, though Mongui is pretty good.
The hotel was great. At first I had a good room with a balcony, and then I moved to a better room. I was there for 5 (?) days and there was only one other guest for one night, so I had the place to myself. Large and nicely done common area with arm chairs and a good large table where I spent many hours working. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable, clean, functional
I asked to be able to wash some dirty clothes and they just did it for free, wouldn't take any payment.
A big thermos of tinto (black coffee with WAY too much sugar) each morning, a Colombian favourite.
nada. All good. Maybe there could be a chair in the bedrooms (?), good to have somewhere to sit. But there's a great common area, so it's not really necessary.
