We really liked the restaurant. The food was delicious, generous and home-cooked. Here, they’d never say, ‘You’ve come too late (or too early), we’re already closed,’ for example. My husband and I arrived late in the evening – that’s how our flight was. We were hungry, but we didn’t have to explain anything or ask for anything… We were served a wonderful dinner, even though it was 10 o’clock in the evening. That put us in a good mood for the whole week. We left the hotel at 7 o’clock in the morning, and at reception they gave us two boxes of a lovely cold breakfast to take with us. When we opened them at the airport, it felt as though our mum had packed them for us. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to thank the head chef, who, in our opinion, is more than capable of running the kitchen at any of the finest restaurants.
1.Our room lacked a bench or stand of some sort where we could unpack our suitcases on arrival and pack them before departure. We had to place them on the charming little sofa, on the neatly made bed, on the bedspread or even on the floor. When that happens, the cosy room instantly loses all its charm.
2.
All the wall hooks (in the hallway, the bathroom…) are positioned very high up. Please make it easier for shorter people to reach them too. The same applies to the bottle of liquid soap above the bath.
It would be good if anyone sitting in the bath could easily reach the bottle of liquid soap, press it with one hand, and hold it with the other hand from below.
3.
Also, there should be more towel hooks – specifically, enough to accommodate the number of towels provided.
Incidentally, our room lacked small towels for personal hygiene.
4.
A handrail is essential in the shower cubicle. Without one, if someone slips, they will instinctively grab the cold or hot tap, which is unsafe.
5.
In our room, the bed is so close to the wall with the window that even a child wouldn’t have
enough space to squeeze past it without bumping into it. It’s impossible to move the bed:
it’s bolted to the wall.
6.
And one last thing. There aren’t enough electrical sockets, and the ones that are there are awkwardly positioned – or rather, at floor level. Only the electric kettle and the TV were in the right place. What’s more, all the others are hidden behind furniture that we had to move. These days, everyone takes at least two gadgets with them on holiday: a tablet and a phone. In a double room, there are four of them. So, that was a problem.

Kein check in Bereich.
