Location! Pleasant & classy entrance and stairs to rooms. Rooftop bar opened - spectacular views.

Cons:

Exercise area is silly & insulting. People who exercise aren’t kidding. It’s standard to provide at least a private, clean, comfortable safe area - even small scale, with two or three machines, some hand weights etc.

Zeer goed verzorgd hotel, rustig gelegen en toch vlakbij alles.
Pros:

Ligging was top, vlakbij de Acropolis, Agora, winkels, restaurants, metro, bushalten en Acropolismuseum. En toch heel rustig en veilig gelegen, in een propere straat. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterkant, met zicht op de Acropolis, dat was fantastisch. Er was een schooltje, maar dat was dicht (paasvakantie), maar sowieso zou je daar geen last van hebben ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts. Het was super rustig om te slapen, je hoorde niets. Fles water en wijn op de kamer. En klein koelkastje. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en heel goed verzorgd, je kwam niets tekort, er werd goed bijgevuld. Ook altijd plaats om te zitten, en er werd goed afgeruimd. Vanaf het dakterras een fantastisch zicht op de Acropolis, vooral ‘s avonds met de verlichting was het magisch. We hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van het transport van/naar de luchthaven, dat was perfect in orde.

Cons:

In de beschrijving van de kamer stond “met balkon”, en op de foto ‘s zag je duidelijk een balkon met een tafeltje en twee stoeltjes. Ik had echter een “Frans balkon”, wat slechts ca. 30cm breed was, dus waarop je amper kon staan, laat staan een stoeltje zetten. Dat vond ik een teleurstelling, en dit had in de beschrijving vermeld moeten worden.

A Memorable Stay Near the Acropolis
Pros:

I had a great stay at the Herodion Hotel during my weekend trip to Athens. The location is excellent, just a short walk from major attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient.
The staff were one of the highlights of my stay — always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout.
The rooms are a bit on the smaller side considering the price, but they were comfortable and well-maintained.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Pros:

Lovely breakfast, great location near the Acropolis and Acropolis museum, a quiet street (also with lovely restaurants nearby).
The staff were lovely and completely fine with me checking in at 2am because my flight landed late. I checked ahead and they communicated well with me. Very convenient that the front desk is 24 hours.

Cons:

Nothing really, the room was quite small but that wasn't an issue for me as I was travelling solo. The bed moving on wheels was a little bit annoying. Also the fridge was small, but that's not really a problem.

Amazing location, lovely staff, good breakfast.
Pros:

The location was really good, right near to the Acropolis. Made it very convenient to visit in the morning and get ahead of the queues! The breakfast was also really nice and plentiful. The staff were very nice, I appreciated the front desk having 24 hours availability. Felt very safe as a solo woman.

Cons:

Nothing, except that the bed being on wheels was a bit annoying as it moved a bit. Also couldn't figure out how to get the safe in the room to work. But apart from that it was great.

Tolles Museum mit dito Dachterrasse sehr zentral gelegen, aber trotzdem einigermassen ruhig.
Pros:

Sehr gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage - gleich neben dem Akropolis-Museum mit wunderbarer Dachterrasse und toller Aussicht auf das Parthenon! Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Frühstück ist ok.

Cons:

Der Frühstücksraum ist ein bisschen sehr eng.

Amazing value!
Pros:

The location cannot be beat. We booked a triple room for a family of four to share because our children are tiny and often share a bed. The check in employees explained we couldn’t do this but they upgraded us to another room for only $25 more a night. Room was lovely. Bar is so cozy and nice on the rainy days we were in Athens. Truly great.
