Pros:

Great breakfast with an amazing view of The Grand Harbour,The Three Cities and the outer suburbs of Valletta.

Cons:

The single room that I booked as I was solo was pretty poor.I am not large by any means but I could hardly fit in the bed and had little sleep.
The staff were great and upgraded me to a double at no extra cost when I complained.

Felt welcome. I love that they use a ledger rather than computer on the front desk. Short walk to everywhere.
Pros:

They took me in last minute after the property I’d booked fell through. The staff were fantastic.
Really comfy and very good value.

Cons:

Nothing considering what you pay.

Perfect location with the nice island view and friendly staff
Pros:

The location is the best in Valetta, which comes with a free rooftop view for breakfast. The Saluting Battery and Upper Baraka park (another best viewpoint in Malta) is literally 2 minutes walking distance to the hotel, and all nice restaurants, bars and landmarks are just steps away.

The breakfast had a bit of everything, both British and mediterranean style, but had options for sweet breakfast lovers as well including many fruit. The room service was very good and efficient, eventhough I stayed only for 2 nights, they changed the towels and cleaned the entire room. The reception staff was always available and very friendly as well.

Cons:

The hotel infrustructure is quite old, I guess this comes as a pay off for that good location in the historical center. The water pressure in the shower luckily worked perfectly fine and the bed and amendments were sufficient but unfortunately the walls were paper thin. I kept waking up even with sounds of coughing neighbours and sounds of their shower etc. If you have noise cancellation earbuds, bring it with you, you will likely need it :)

Stanza vecchia, sporca, c’erano ancora dei panini nel frigo lasciati da qualcuno che ha alloggiato prima di noi. Lenzuola sporche, pulizia sommaria, mobili vecchissimi, mi dispiace, ma a parte la pozione eccellente e la colazione buona, il resto è tutto negativo.

Excellent place to stay in Valletta, close to the touristic sites, and somehow quiet! Loved it!
Pros:

I loved the antique style, according to the city and old part neighborhood of Valletta. It was close to all attractions of the city, especially for walking tours, shops, the pier for the ferry, restaurants and more. The power outlet was placed close the bed, thank you! There was essential furniture in the room, chairs, drawers, closet. Room had a very to the street, and it was quiet. I got my plane delayed and missed the first day of this stay, but the manager kindly reimbursed me that day in cash. Thanks a lot! The breakfast was a buffet style with hot and cold meals, everything tasty.

Cons:

Overall, it was what I expected from the pictures. To me, the bathroom was a little small, and I am a short guy. I guess there is nothing to do about it, because it is how the building was designed. The bed also felt a little too small, and again, I am a short guy.
