What was good:
The location is great - you're basically in the center of Valletta. Also, scenic views of the harbour when having breakfast on the roof terrace.
Not so good:
I forgot my polo shirt at the hotel and even if the staff replied they found it and promissed to send it to me (and I offered to pay for the postage), this never happened. Taking into account the loss of the shirt, it was not a good value stay. I therefore do not recommend this hotel.
Otherwise, it's quite an old hotel - long time since last renovation. Air conditioning was not very efficient so it was uncomfortably hot.

It’s in an amazing location. The staff is super friendly, the stairs with restaurants and bars are super close, so is the famous garden. The breakfast view was amazing as well. If I’ll go again I’m gonna definitely book a room here again.
The smell of the room. The cause of smell was the air conditioning. The moment they have turned off and opened the window it has disappeared. Probably it needs some cleaning but if you are fine with the smell the hotel is 10/10.

Coming here is like travelling by time machine. The vibe at night is like in one of the detective movies, as they keep the style from the 80s, but it is clean. The location is beautiful, and the view from the window is amazing.
I have no idea how the AC is working there. You can't regulate it, so you just have to accept how it is. In the peak of summer, it can be not enough. Breakfast is more like meh, it gets boring after two days, because it is always the same and blunt.

el aíre acondicionado es tan viejo que le cuesta enfriar, el comedor y la terraza de arriba están sucios, el desayuno es escaso y se podría mejorar bastante, los colchones no son muy cómodos, el personal de recepción, a excepción de una chica joven es bastante poco colaborativo... creo que falta un poco de buena y nueva vibra en general
