Horrible. No vayan.
Pros:

El momento en que me fuí.
La atención de la recepcionista de la mañana.

Cons:

Todo.
Quisieron cobrarme de más. La tarifa era de u$d 18 y querian S/ 70 q son u$d 21. No aceptaron mi Visa Internacional, tuve que pagar en efectivo. Al fin me cobraron S/ 60
Es un edificio nuevo y mal construído. La escalera a la planta alta tiene escalones desparejos: el 1° de 10 cm, los restantes normales y el último de casi 25 cms. Puede producir accidentes serios.
Las puertas estan en falsa escuadra y rozan los pisos.
El baño privado no tiene ventilación
No hay agua caliente en la ducha
Está ubicado en una calle sin pavimento, de tierra apisonada y sin aceras.
Está muy lejos del centro, 10 minutos en taxi.

Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Gute Lage in ruhiger Seitenstraße. Sehr freundliche Menschen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war klein und das Bad sehr einfach. Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber ganz in der Nähe gibt es ein wunderbares Café zum Frühstücken.

Clean, nice, modern
Pros:

Very clean, kind staff, very helpful. Helped us get a collectivo to Tarapoto. Quiet air conditioning. Toilet had a seat, which isn't always the case here.

Cons:

The key is attached to a giant wooden key fob. We didn't realize but we're supposed to give the key to the front desk before leaving. I don't think this was communicated, but it could have been the language barrier. Because it was so huge, we simply took the key off the ring when going out. The night receptionist communicated with us that he needed our key, which we understood with help from Google translate. When we came back, he presented the key attached to the fob. He had gone into our room to get it. It also seemed he had unplugged a charger that had been next to it. This felt a little passive aggressive and a violation of privacy. Other than that the place was great though.

There also wasn't much toilet paper and no soap next to the sink.

Pros:

Staff friendly, rooms was comfy. Has A/C which is a plus.

Cons:

They offered communication through WhatsApp, but they never replied. So, I had to go to the reception to let them know that there were no towels in the room.
