Pros:

It’s better than some stately homes which I have visited.

Crammed with history but still has the modern touch we all need in our lives.

Comfortable hotel with fine dining in a grand Edwardian country house
Pros:

A good location a few miles from Yarm. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and taken in a grand room overlooking the lawn. The house is surrounded by woodland and has a real Edwardian country house atmosphere

Cons:

Nothing

Lovely building, staff and guest experience.
Pros:

Beautiful historic building of quality unspoilt by modernisation. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and grounds. Delightful helpful staff and very professional. Great room, food, and amazing range of great wines by the glass. Superb position as very accessible by car yet calm and tranquil in the rural grounds. Great for N Yorkshire moors, Cleveland Hills and even the Yorkshire dales.

Cons:

Billing process proved a bit tedious, 3 holding charges made to my card for no apparent reason! Still waiting for one of them to clear after 5 working days and conversation with General manager about this!

Pros:
