Great family room just outside the centre of Dingle.
Pros:

We had a spacious family room which was very comfortable for us and our two teens. Dermot is a very gracious host and provided lots of helpful advice. It is an easy walk into the centre of Dingle, and despite unfortunately grim weather it was a quick pop down and back for dinner and pubs.

Great views close to town
Pros:

The owner was fantastic and helpful on arrival. The view from the upstairs hall and the sitting room was amazing.

Cons:

It wasn't full when we were there, but the noise traveled through the halls so it could be a problem if all the rooms are full. The bed was smaller than expected, and not terribly comfortable. We did not do breakfast, as it was quite spendy for a continental breakfast.

Kind owner/manager but do not recommend
Pros:

The Lighthouse is in a nice location in Dingle. The owner/manager was kind and gave helpful tips on places to go and things to do in the area.

Cons:

Parking was tight and not very plentiful. The breakfast was not as advertised or explained to us. We were told there would be hot items (hot porridge) but the only items available each morning were a minimal selection of pre-packaged yogurts, cereal/granola, croissants/bread, and fruit. There was coffee machine where you can make your own coffee but it wasn’t working properly the second morning. The croissants/bread were not refreshed during our stay and the fruit had started to turn bad.

Pros:

We had an exceptional stay in The Lighthouse! Everything was perfect 🤩 Dermot gave us the warmest welcome and prepared the most delicious breakfast. Thank you, we will be back for sure! 🫶🏼
