Wonderful stay, highly recommend!
Pros:

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Maria. 😊 She was an absolutely incredible host—warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring from the very first moment. She gave us excellent advice about different excursions around Crete and helped us feel completely at home throughout our stay. Because of her kindness and professionalism, our entire experience was even more special.

The hotel itself is beautiful and offers excellent value for money. The food was delicious and we were especially grateful for how carefully the staff handled our gluten-free meals. Everything was prepared with great attention and we felt very well taken care of. ☺️

The location is also fantastic—the sea was only a one-minute walk from our room. We even enjoyed our breakfast with a wonderful seaview, which made every morning feel unforgettable.

Overall, our stay was truly amazing. We are very happy with our experience, we highly recommend this hotel to everyone and we would love to come back again.

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet, gemütlich und extrem sauber. Das Frühstück bekommt man im Restaurant Me Gusta welches direkt an der Unterkunft liegt. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen drei Frühstücksvariationen es ist sehr lecker. Dabei kann man eine schöne Aussicht zum Strand/ Meer genießen. Das Personal in Me Gusta ist sehr freundlich. In der Unterkunft bekommt man Strandtücher und sogar eine Strandtasche. Den Strand erreicht man ebenfalls durch das Restaurant Me Gusta für Hotelgäste sind die Strandliegen kostenfrei. Man hat direkten Zugang zum Strand und wird dort auch direkt am Strand mit Getränken und Speisen versorgt, wenn man es wünscht (natürlich gegen Aufpreis). Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz für Hotelgäste. Maria, die Betreiberin der Unterkunft ist eine wunderbare Person. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit geht auf die Wünsche ihrer Gäste ein und nimmt sich die Zeit individuell nach Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Geheimtipps für ihre Gäste zu schauen. Ihre Tipps sind super !
Die Unterkunft ist umgeben von vielen Restaurants, Supermärkten und kleinen Shopping Möglichkeiten. Alles Fussläufig erreichbar. In die Stadt Chania benötigt man ca 18 Minuten mit dem Auto.
Wir würden Ostrakon Suites aufjedenfall wieder buchen, wenn wir hierher reisen. Klare Empfehlung.

Pros:

We are very much enjoyed our stay at Ostrakon suites and will probably come back in the near future.
our rooms were well equipped and very clean. The situation is perfect : close to the beach and many restaurants and shops. And we couldn't dream of a better responsible than Maria : always available to help and come with suggestions for visits, restaurants, etc. E.g. no need to ask for transport to the airport, Maria anticipated and proposed her help. So overall, we will certainly recommend this place to our friends.

Pros:

Amazing 2 bed apartment with a fabulous balcony. The room was modern, immaculate and had all the facilities you need. Lovely view of the sea. The beach was steps away and breakfast at Me Gusta was very good. Supermarket, pharmacy and many restaurants nearby. Despite the proximity of the main street, the apartment was very peaceful. Thanks to Maria, the owners and cleaning lady for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

war sehr angenehm und ist weiter zu empfehlen
Pros:

Schönes modernes und stylisches Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile. kurze Wege ca. 40 Meter zum schönen Sandstrand. liegt direkt am Restaurant Me Gusto, wo auch das leckere A la cart Frühstück serviert wird. Besonders nett ist Maria an der Rezeption, die sich um alles liebevoll kümmert und einen mit Tipps versorgt.

Cons:

kein Blick aufs Meer sondern auf den Parkplatz. Man hört nachts die Hauptstraße ganz gut.

phantastisches Zimmer, wunderschöne riesige Terrasse mit Meerblick, top modern ausgestattet, Gratisliegen und Schirme vorhanden, immer frische flauschige Handtücher zur Verfügung, sehr sauber, Lage direkt am Strand, Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit sowohl in der Unterkunft als auch im dazugehörigen Restaurant Me Gusta. Fußläufig viele gute Restaurants und Bars erreichbar sowie Geschäfte und Supermärkte. Busstation z. B. nach Chania direkt gegenüber.
Rezeptionistin Maria war einfach traumhaft ☺️ Danke nochmals für alles!!

Everything was exceptional! The hotel was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The building and facilities are new and modern, and the service from the reception team was outstanding —Maria is incredible kind, always helpful and welcoming. We loved her. The owners are very nice also. Having access to free sun beds was a great bonus. The team at the restaurant was very nice also and they welcomed us every day with a smile. A perfect stay from start to finish.

Perfect Stay by the Beach – Thanks to Maria!

We stayed at Ostrakon Suites in Agia Marina for a week in July and loved it. The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed – plus a stunning view over the beach, which is just steps away.

What truly made our stay special was Maria. She was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us all the information we needed about restaurants, sights, car rentals, and activities. The cleaning lady was also lovely and kept our room spotless.


Breakfast was at Me Gusta restaurant, they offered breakfast and also served fantastic and very delicious food with a stunning view. For breakfast, we could choose from three options, and we went with the European breakfast. While it was tasty, I would have preferred a buffet to have more variety during the week – especially to try some Greek breakfast options.

The best part of the hotel is Maria. If she’s still there, I know exactly where I’ll stay next time I visit Agia Marina.

Highly recommend!

I would definitely love to come back!
Pros:

The apartment, which was just a few steps from the beach, had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation — including a small kitchen. Towels were changed daily, and the place was always very clean. Breakfast is available at the Me Gusta restaurant right by the sea.
Maria was a perfect host: exceptionally warm and helpful, with great recommendations for local restaurants and trip ideas.
