I love the view…and the lovely young lady at the front desk very sweet..the charm of the place..I loved my balcony with the fabulous view..bed was comfy..3 night stay. Love that it’s so near everything’s but away from main road and on an easily walkable hill. Nearby is the lake and food water and shopping plus some restaurants easy walk. There is a bar restaurant like a block away and the Garden Club tennis center super close with a bar.
The shower was…in need of update but fine for the 3 day stay:)
The hotel was in a good location up a hill off the lake and approx 20 min walk to Kandy centre. Our room was large & had a balcony overlooking the lake area, It was clean & well equipped with nice bathroom & a kettle & tea & coffee & bottled water. The breakfast was pleasant & included juice & fruits followed by cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, we would stay here again.
Nothing apart from there were no toiletries in the bathroom as stated on booking.com but the staff soon brought up soap & smaĺ bottle of shower gel when I asked.
I was welcomed by friendly staff and gave me a nice fresh juice welcome drink.
My room was very big. Huge comfortable bed and a patio with stunning views over Kandy and a nice quiet location on a small hill hence the beautiful views
Only the shower room was outdated albeit clean and manageable
Not very tasty and no options. Not at all a good breakfast.

everything was good besides the bed where the fundament was a bit broken. But that was probably only in our room

Staff very friendly and helpfull
The location was good, you could walk into Kandy in 20 mins or Tuk Tuk for 200-250SLR. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good, although they should let you know your options. The views were quite good, however, “ lake view” is stretching it a bit! We could just see a small part of the lake. Bathroom & shower were good. When we couldn’t get wi-fi in our room, they put a router into our room for us.
They don’t have a Card machine ( despite Booking.com’s T&C’s)- so they require cash payment. The room didn’t look like the Booking.com’s photos. Some of the furniture needed attention. The air con dripped onto the balcony.
Big rooms! Easy location to get tuk tuk into Kandy for food. Nice breakfast.
We had a broken and flooded toilet and had to change rooms to a smaller room without a view but still had to pay full price for the deluxe room (which was not cheap!). Rooms quite outdated and showing signs of wear.
Location was great, I loved the view from the hotel, it was calm and peaceful and yet very close to the city. The room was clean and well kept.
