Poor customer service and unhygienic bathroom
When we arrived at the hotel and were presented with our room, it was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, we mentioned it to reception and as the cleaners weren't available until the morning, we got upgraded to a better room which was delightful. At the breakfast buffet you were able to help yourself to as much as you want. The overall hotel was quite nice, with a lovely view and foyer.
As mentioned before our room was the first disappointing welcome, and I thought that it was going to be the only. Me and my partner came to this hotel to celebrate his birthday, next morning for breakfast the staff had forgotten our breakfast order. We waited 30 minutes for our breakfast to be served, which does not seem like long at all, but there were many other people that came in after us that were served within 10 minutes. When I mentioned it to the staff, they went to find our order and then did not tell us what had happened, the man I spoke to just walked out the kitchen to do his own thing. After another ten minutes we were then served. The pool is not as delightful as it seems, it was cold and full of people, which I think should be maintained how many people are in the pool. To top it off, the night before checking out and the night before my partners birthday, we went to the bar behind the reception desk, which was welcoming and comforting, however the man at the bar was a disgrace... petty talk and snarky comments, no respect at all, with his trousers hanging down. Not a sight you want to be seeing in a hotel.

The lift wasn’t working which was a problem plus there was a little girl staying at the same time and she was in a wheelchair and I felt for her
The hotel was well appointed and had everything we needed and more. The whole place was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
We liked everything about it. Nothing not to like.
The location and the decor!
Kids running around screaming all around the hotel like it’s soft play!
Hated the soft play being next to the dinning area as you had young children running around through tables! It’s like soft play all the time! No quiet areas!
Rooms are boiling hot!! Even with a fan!
