Superb
Pros:

Its location a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, the very affordable price, and the friendliness of the reception.

Good value
Pros:

If you need to be economical then this is a good place to stay. It's in the historic centre and a few minutes walk to the central plaza. You can walk to and from the bus station in 15 minutes, though there are hills (s/5 taxi well worth it with luggage). The rooms are very small but with table and cupboard, clean, bed comfortable and hot water is good when you know to turn on the electric switch on the wall and don't turn the tap on too much ( more on brings colder water). They gave me an extra blanket when I asked. I was glad I chose the cheaper room so I could save a little money. In the end you are out all day anyway!

Cons:

While not a problem, the staff are nothing to write home about!
The curtain in my room needs to be re-hung properly.
