Short city break in Rabat
Pros:

Great city centre location. Rooms with lovely balconies with a city view. Next to a plaza with cafeteries and restaurants. Staff were so helpful. Very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast provided was good.

Helaas was mijn verblijf in dit hotel een grote teleurstelling. De hygiëne was ver onder de maat en er hing een onaangename, muffe geur in het hotel. De lift werkte bovendien niet goed.

We waren met z’n tweeën, maar kregen slechts één douchehanddoek. Nadat ik hierover bij de receptie had geklaagd, brachten ze ons ’s avonds uiteindelijk een extra handdoek. Die handdoek zag er echter zo oud en versleten uit dat hij waarschijnlijk al tien jaar oud was.

De badkamer was in zeer slechte staat: alles was verouderd, versleten en op veel plaatsen aangetast door roest.

Onze kamer lag op de vierde verdieping aan de straatkant. Toch leek het alsof we midden op straat sliepen. De geluidsisolatie was werkelijk nul. De hele nacht werden we wakker gehouden door het lawaai van auto’s en verkeer, waardoor we nauwelijks hebben kunnen slapen.

Ook het ontbijt was ver onder het niveau. Er was weinig keuze en de kwaliteit liet duidelijk te wensen over.

Dit is waarschijnlijk nog maar een klein deel van alles wat we die nacht in dit hotel hebben meegemaakt. Voor mij absoluut geen aanrader en zeker geen hotel waar ik nog eens zou verblijven.

De accommodatie was lawaaierig, gewelddadig, onjuiste behandeling, ik betaalde €9 belasting, en de geur van sigaretten verstikte me, maar het ontbijt was op het vereiste niveau.
