El lugar es realmente muy lindo.

Cons:

El precio era bastante elevado para las habitaciones, si bien las habitaciones eran buenas, no tenian ventanas y la verdad, es que para el precio eso es un poco desepcionante.

Eine Oase im quirligen Viertel Getsemani
Pros:

Perfekte Lage. Alle geschmackvoll renovierten Zimmer orientieren sich zu einem begrüntem Innenhof mit Pool. Im ganzen Haus herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre! Das Frühstück ist superlecker und das Personal superfreundlich und hilfsbereit.
Einfach zum Wohlfühlen!

Buena ubicación, limpio, personal amable. Pero ruido infernal.
Pros:

Precioso, muy cuidado. Desayuno rico, ubicación. Excelente.

Cons:

No se puede dormir hasta las 3:00am por una discoteca cerca. La habitación da a la calle y no hay cristal es una rendija de madera. Tuve que dormir con tapones el ruido es insoportable.

Au cœur de l animation de Getsemaní
Pros:

Bel hôtel conforme aux photos
Petit déjeuner qui varie un peu tous les jours

Cons:

Rue en travaux début mars 2026 mais ce n est pas ça le plus bruyant, ce sont les bars autour : impossible de dormir sans bouchons d oreille - d ailleurs ils sont prévus :)

A stunning historic hotel near the heart of all the fun of Getsemani - affordable and comfortable!
Pros:

This is a beautiful, historic hotel just near the park in Getsemani - near the Walled City. It was quiet, comfortable and very affordable. The breakfast was good and the location was amazing - so many restaurants and shops and you are really right near the heart of it all. The staff is very kind and helpful - we had several questions and a few requests and they met them all with graciousness. The room had a big comfortable bed and wifi was excellent.

Cons:

We would have also liked a fan, but the AC worked well. You also need to be buzzed in - and it seems there are sometimes issues with the buzzer - so you may wait a few minutes. But other than that - totally great.

Buena ubicación en el barrio de Getsemaní
Pros:

Lo mejor es la ubicación, porque está en la calle de la Media Luna a apenas 50 metros de la entrada al Parque del Centenario. La habitación era de buen tamaño y la cama de tamaño matrimonial era cómoda.

Cons:

La tarifa de alojamiento y desayuno era cara. No me pareció que la relación calidad-precio fuera muy buena. La habitación era exterior, aunque ni se nota, porque lo que tenía era un ventanuco con unos barrotes situado a bastante altura, así que no es que entrase mucha luz. Ya me esperaba algo así al ser la habitación de categoría más inferior. Para varios días se me hizo el desayuno un tanto repetitivo. No había mucha variedad y estoy acostumbrado a desayunar bastante cuando salgo de viaje.

Some hiccups for an otherwise decent hotel in Cartagena

This review is not for Voilà getsemani but for Voilà Centro Historico. See below.

The location is great. Getsemani and the Port to go to Rosario Island are walking distance. The city centre is very nice too to explore and less busy than Getsemani.

The bathroom was really nice. Breakfast on the terrace was also a highlight. The hotel has a nice pool although very small.

Cons:

We originally booked Voilà Getsemani but we were informed at our arrival in Cartagena that we were moved to another hotel of the same chain due to road construction in Calle 30. While we appreciated the solution provided we were startled to learn about this change at 4 pm of the day we had to check in given that the road construction has been going on for a while.

The room we were given had no view (a wall in front was all we could see), no minibar, no kettle and no table or a surface where to put stuff.

The AC was blasting and we could not make it less cold so we switched it off altogether.

We asked for help with opening the safe and get a second bathrobe at reception but no one showed up and we had to ask again.

The last night (Monday) there was blasting music from the rooftop terrace until at least midnight and we had a very bad night's sleep.
