Lovely boutique hotel close to all the restaurants, bars and sights of Valletta. We highly recommend
Pros:

The Avalon is a newly upgraded hotel on a quiet street yet only a 2 min walk from numerous bars and restaurants. The room was very chic, clean and comfortable. The bathroom modern and the shower was hot and powerful. We had a cute balcony as well. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Great location, lovely service and a pleasant stay
Pros:

Everything was great! The location is excellent, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

Although the hotel has limited space for breakfast preparation, they have found a nice solution: guests can choose from a selection of prepared dishes, which are then heated and kindly served by the staff. We really appreciated this approach.

Cons:

The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the reusable plastic slippers provided in the room. I understand the environmental reasoning behind this choice, but there was no indication that they had been properly cleaned and disinfected between guests. I would have felt much more comfortable if their hygiene had been clearly assured.

Pros:

Het was erg leuk dat je een dakterras had met een jacuzzi. De jacuzzi was wel wat aan de koude kant.

Cons:

Toen we aankwamen waren ze de kamer nog aan het schoonmaken en had de schoonmaker gepoept op het toilet want het stonk enorm..
Voor de rest was het een mooie en nette kamer.
Het ontbijt smaakte alsof het niet vers was, het was vaak erg droog.

Het meest positieve was de locatie!
De kamers waren netjes en proper.

Cons:

Het ontbijt was ietwat vreemd voor ons en we waren hierop niet voorbereid.
Keuze was naar onze normen wat beperkt, maar dat is subjectief.

In de badkamer hing een putjesgeur van de riool. Na een opmerking hebben ze dat Gefixt.

We vonden het ook vreemd dat we de gehandikaptenkamer kregen.

Great accommodation, staff and location a win all round
Pros:

Location is perfect. One street away for the lively restaurants and bars so you can get a good nights sleep. Staff are truely amazing so welcoming and you can tell that it’s family owned and run they cannot do enough for you.

Excellent location with above & beyond service.
Pros:

Joseph and his staff provided us with exceptional service even helping us with our bags when we got lost - above & beyond service.
Note: when using Google maps to find the hotel, type in Avalon Boutique Hotel not the street address !!!
The hotel’s location is ideal and so close to bars, cafes and the town’s major attractions.
