Pros:

Mooi knus hotel. Aan de overkant van de weg bevindt zich een meer. Je kunt wandelen in een stukje natuurgebied. Douchen in de kast was erg handig bedacht en ook goed te doen.

3 very happy days in a special place.
Pros:

Our 3 days were just perfect. The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and caring. The hotel is in an area of outstanding natural beauty if you enjoy walking . Nearby Falun mine and Carl Larsson' s home added to our stay and we hope to return one day to explore further.

Cozy, traditional winter wonderland
Pros:

The house has a nice traditional style with many cozy details. It is located next to a lake and near a road so easy to reach by car. Great location, super friendly staff, traditional but clean, warm and cozy rooms. They did have lactose free cow milk which is good for those with intolerances.

Cons:

I am vegan and there were very little plant based options at breakfast despite writing an email beforehand. I do understand that on the country side it is not as common but it would be great with some more plant based options also from a sustainability perspective.

Peaceful stay in a lovely hotel
Pros:

The location is breathtaking and Malinn was a great host, really making sure our stay was perfect. The hotel is lovely! We would love to come back during summer to discover the region even more, and stay at the Trollnäs once again!

The hotel is absolutely recommendable.
Pros:

Malin was a wonderful host! she and Elisabeth were friendly and had a lot of tips what to do in the area and also in Falun.
the breakfast. is. awesome!
We felt really comfortable and cozy just like being home.
We extended our stay because we liked it so much!

we came in winter , walked on the frozen lake , played with the snow
the room was very suitable for a family with small kids (small attic room for the kids)

Think this is the best stay i’ve had at a hotel!
Pros:

Really nice staff, they made a whole breakfast buffé (wich itself was outstanding) even tho me and my friend where the only guests for that night. Beautiful facility.
