Hotel Samanapaq

Vor und nach unserem Trip nach Machu Picchu haben wir in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich. Wir hatten ein Thema mit unserem Mietwagen, welches während unserer Abwesenheit gelöst wurde. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich um alles gekümmert. Vielen Dank! Wir können das Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful home estate converted to a hotel. Lovely garden, terrific breakfast, personable staff.

The property is just on the outskirts of town still easy to get to the square. Completely gated location that gives serenity and security. Great gardens and courtyard.

Camere immerse in un bellissimo giardino, sala colazione

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, after flying into Cusco from Lima.
The hotel reservations representative (Paola) who I corresponded with at length prior to our arrival, was friendly and thoughtful. She not only helped to arrange our pickup from Cusco airport to the hotel in Ollantaytambo (for a fee) but also advised us not to take a stop at Chinchero along the way, given the fact that we had not yet acclimated to the elevation and were at risk of attitude sickness. We did eventually visit Chinchero, but only later in the trip after a day's stay at Cusco. We appreciated that level of concern.
The hotel is situated closer to the edge of the town and so it's in a quiet place.
The property is very beautiful and tastefully done up.
The room was nice and spacious. A bottle of filtered water was provided on both days. The bed was comfortable and were it not for the leaking toilet flush, we would have had a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable and could have been better on both spread and quantity. Our request for a fried egg was turned down, which was disappointing.
However, the front desk staff were courteous and very friendly and helpful, especially Tula, who was very kind, friendly and helpful, so that helped.

Alojamiento con mucho encanto . Tiene unos jardines muy bien cuidados, cerca del pueblo. Muy tranquilo. Desayuno perfecto. Te ayudan con todo, personal muy amable. Habitación muy amplia y confortable.

This hotel was like an quiet oasis. It had beautiful gardens and lots of comfy couches in a large lobby space. The rooms were large and comfortable. Some rooms and common areas have view so the Incan store houses. The showers were very nice and got hot quickly, The breakfast was fine, with lots of choice but not made to order. They did give us breakfast to go the day we took the train to Machu Picchu. The staff spoke a little less English than at some hotels, but were very helpful when my friend was sick. They gave one glass bottle of filtered water per room per day, which I used to refill my own water bottles. There was access to tea most of the day but the dinning area is locked when breakfast is not being served. Overall it was very comfortable.

El espacio, el silencio y tranquilidad

Le site était complètement incroyable ! Bien placé et à la fois légèrement à l’écart de l’hyper centre. Le soir : aller dîner à Apu Veronica, c’était dingue ! La salle du petit déjeuner était sympa et le petit déjeuner varié.
