The location is awful. Part of the "5 minutes" to the beach is through a garbage trash site.
Diese Unterkunft können wir als Familie mit 3 Kindern absolut empfehlen, wir fühlten uns hier sehr willkommen! Eine kleine Oase mit sehr hilfsbereiten und sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets darauf bedacht, dass man sich wohl fühlt und sie helfen sofort, wenn man Fragen oder Wünsche hat. Ein besonders großes Lob an Pierre an der Rezeption und an Abu :) Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, die gesamte Anlage mitsamt Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt - alles sehr sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut.
In wenigen Gehminuten ist man am schönen Strand, mit dem Taxi kommt man in wenigen Minuten in die belebtere und Gegend von Nungwi. Wir genossen es immer wieder, nach Ausflügen in diese ruhige Oase zurück zu kehren und uns vom Trubel außerhalb zu entspannen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!

Je pense que le meilleur était le personnel (mention spécial à abubaker) ils sont très serviables, gentils et à l'écoute !
Imani aussi le gérant de l'hôtel ainsi que le massai a la réception ont étaient plus qu'adorable vraiment rien à dire la dessus.
Loin d'être un 4*, plutôt un petit 2* amélioré, l'hôtel est située sur une route horriblement cabossée ce qui rend son accès très difficile, ensuite l'hôtel en lui même est mal agencé on sy sent très oppressé, toutes les chambres au tour d'une petite piscine qui donne pas vraiment envie de s'y baigner .
Le petit déjeuné était bon mais très très peu de choix !
L'hôtel n'a pas accès à l'eau douce, je ne m'y attendais pas du tout, très étonné de sentir l'eau de mer à ma première douche !
Les chambres sont effectivement propres mais le ménages pourrait être amélioré (le changement des produits détergent est indispensable)

Change of towels and bedsheets every day, and the manager who tried to make the situation a bit better a few times.
1st room we booked was terrible (for both couples, so two rooms). It was the standard rooms. It wasn't feasible to stay there so we had to request an upgrade to a king superior room (for which we paid for, for both rooms). The rooms were smelling mold (both upgraded ones too, our clothes were ALL smelling when we returned home), had cockroaches, there were footprints on the floor after the cleaning (every single day; probably because they were mopping but not letting them dry out naturally, so the humidity combo was creating this effect), there were ants every single day (you couldn't leave any food anywhere in the room (coming from the mold/humidity I assume). Also, next to one of the upgraded rooms they were doing constructions during the entire duration of our stay (there was a lot of noise all the time plus power cuts to the entire property). Generally, the standard room is not even passable (the shower was full of rust, you didn't even want to take a shower in it or touch anywhere), let alone for the price of the room, which was significant. It wasn't really a cheap room, so you could say that "well you get what you pay for". The superior room is passable (though I would never go back), primarily because of the mold smell which left us with respiratory issues after 10 nights.
Now in terms of the property, the breakfast had limited options to choose from (plus on the last day we were told we can't have breakfast because the stove on the kitchen was broken - yes there was only one stove). Also, the coffee machine (yes, the one they had) was broken for multiple days during our stay. In the days we were lucky to have the coffee machine and the kitchen working, we would get our coffee and breakfast an hour later (apart from some pieces of fruit which they would bring within 10-15 minutes) and the staff working during breakfast were NOT trained at all to be working there.
La struttura è molto accogliente, ci si sente a casa. La colazione è ottima e lo staff molto gentile. Non abbiamo mai avuto problemi anche per l'allergia di mia figlia. In generale possiamo dire che si mangia molto bene anche a pranzo e cena.
Un neo potrebbe essere che al weekend vanno un po' in affanno con il numero elevato di arrivi, con qualche disservizio, ma la loro gentilezza te li fa perdonare.
La superficie della camera è la sua pulizia, bagno grande con doccia confortevole, gentilezza dello staff, piccolo ristorante con buon cibo e sempre aperto durante tutta la giornata

Everything was perfect to be honest. We are traveling alot and this is the first time that we were really satisfied with everything that a facility provided. We arrived way too early in the morning to the hotel and i was ready to take a nap on pool side until the room get ready :))) but the staff immediately arranged a room for us at a nearby hotel. So after long flight we were able to rest before settle our original room. I must say that we never saw that kind of service in any resort all around the world.. was a great gesture. Hotel restaurant is amazing… Anything u pick from the menu is delicios, staff is genuine and shows a great hospitality and serves genuinely. The greatest wifi connection ever. Even better than our home… Rooms are really super clean and comfortable. We stayed in both type of rooms in one week and both room types r very comfortable, clean and view is amazing . The hotel is close to beach by walking and it is actually good to see other sides of the Zanzibar too. And the environment is safe.
The only thing we would find intimidating at first is the roads that going to the hotel… The roads in general are in bad condition in Zanzibar, so for a person who comes here for the first time and if your flight is late like ours… you can get intimidated by it. It makes you questioning where i just arrived but i ensure that its a big contrast with the swrvice you get from the hotel. Everything was perfect.

Very friendly staff. Reception manager Iman was extremely helpful. The restaurant staff Justina and Julie very hardworking despite pressure. We enjoyed playing table tennis.
Chef’s are a bit slow but quality of food is good. The location is excellent and poor. It’s 5 mins walking distance from Royal beach one of the best. Not far from Kendwa and Nungwi beach. Inside the property is beautiful but the neighbourhood and road is a bit rundown especially when walking to Royal beach. But I guess this is common in north of Zanzibar.
The breakfast was very good—fresh, satisfying, and a great way to start the day. That said, it would be even better if the menu changed from time to time to add some variety. One downside was the presence of crows during breakfast; they were quite aggressive and even tried to steal food from our plates, which was frustrating.
The location, however, was superb—just an 8-minute walk from the beach, making it incredibly convenient and enjoyable.

Cozy, hidden haven! Safe! We walked about to other parts of Nungwi daily and at night interacting with the local people was one of the highlights of our stay....Hakuna matata! Front desk and pool side staff were very welcoming and friendly...made us feel at home! Rooms were as advertised, clean and spacious. The breakfast fruit platter was our favorite. The hotel tour staff from Urafiki tours were super helpful in arranging our sunset cruise and trip to swim with the turtles, a must do activity. Thank you for a lovely stay.🙏
Very nice staff, clean, good food and nice pool. Location great. Also: very easy to buy a sim card, rent a car or organize a tour. Recommended!

Vriendelijke locatie, loopafstand van het strand. Medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk. Iedereen doet zijn best om het naar je zin te maken. Bedankt 🙏
Breakfast was very nicely prepared every morning and made fresh to order.
They put in mosquito nets for us on request .
The pool was cleaned daily.
The family room was on the smaller side for 4 people .
The location is just that little bit further from the centre to walk late at night but not a problem as rickshaws are available.
