Pros:

环境很舒适，阳台就可以看到山景！员工也很好！离佛牙寺走路10来分钟，回来就麻烦一点需要爬坡。

Good hotel option
Pros:

Great location, good proximity to bars/walks. Only a 10 min tuk tuk into the town. No fault of the hotel but it was slightly scary to be out in the town in the evenings, so ensure you know where you are going! The trees around the corner was a great spot with a rooftop pool & bar to visit.

Cons:

There was ongoing construction that we weren’t aware of prior to our stay

Lovely stay, but is at the top of a steep hill
Pros:

Staff were lovely and accommodating. Some lovely views over the valley and a comfortable room
There are local tropes of monkeys that go past, giving some lovely views of them.

Cons:

The location is challenging - it is at the top of a hill and fairly challenging to access on foot. Even in our van, our driver had some difficulty in accessing and our van briefly got stuck.
We also had considerable difficulties with water temperature in both our rooms throughout our stay. It would either be scalding hot or cold, with nothing in between

Excellent,Perfect Base for Exploring Kandy
Pros:

I stayed at Hotel Cassendra(Feb 2026) for one night and it was truly exceptional. The location is perfect—within few Km distance to major landmarks like the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Queen’s Hotel.

Highlights of my stay:

The Views: Being on the 2nd floor offered lovely views that really added to the atmosphere.

Breakfast: was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Service: The staff were incredibly polite and went out of their way to accommodate my ad-hoc requests.

Cons:

Well nothing to complain about, Overall, it's excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to stay at when visiting kandy!
Pros:

The views from the hotel were amazing as you’re just outside kandy at the top of a hill very close to the kandy view point. The staff were all very attentive and happy to help with anything we needed. Rooms were as seen in pictures and had all you could need.

Our stay was amazing and we would definitely stay at Cassandra again.
Pros:

The staff was really nice and welcoming. They go beyond their way to make our stay exceptional. The rooms were spacious and super clean as well!

Cons:

I wish there was more space for car parking but other than that everything was exceptional

It’s close to the centre where there are lots of places to eat.
Pros:

Friendly staff and breakfast was good. Clean every where.

Cons:

No lift , old people should be warned. No driver accommodation either.

Friendly, clean, and great value
Pros:

We loved the location, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were always there to help. Rooms had big doubles, tidy, nice.

Cons:

A hotel bar or any drinks would go a long way to meet friends in the evenings. We went to a nearby one instead.

Overall clean property with helpful staff, great views and value for money
Pros:

The property is clean with a great view
The staff especially Dilrukshi and Kanishka were outstanding in providing service to us with a smile despite Challenges.
The chefs tried their best to churn out meals to suit our palette too
Overall the staff was very customer centric

Cons:

Unfortunately there were no lifts. We were 4 seniors who found it very difficult to climb stairs frequently
