The room was insane. So spacious and the biggest bed ever. Also the bathroom was very new and the view from the room and hotel was amazing.

Cons:

The shower can get very hot at any given time, so it switches from warm, to very hot (or very cold) in a second. Probably because of the use of solar energy, but be careful because it's very easy to get burned.

Basically average stay, frustrating when given a not so good room as per hotel itinerary when book
Pros:

Breakfast was good, even with limited choice, Location was quiet high not easy if your have walking disability.But you do get a great view over the lake.

Cons:

The bathroom needs cleaning, bit cramped. our first room was on the top floor. difficult if you have trouble with the stairs as there was no lifts. hardly any hot water when showering. had to ask for another room due the stairs, not so clean bathroom and no hot water when showering,

Pros:

Very good location, and the view is stunning. We were welcomed bei Imantha and were in very good hands. He organized everything we needed and checked up on us. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Good location away from noise of Kandy but walking distance
Comfortable beds
Good shower

Cons:

Very noisy at night from other guests sitting outside til very late - no sleep first night. Lots of noise from room upstairs also
Bedding and towels frayed and old, with holes in bedding
Steep walk uphill, we managed but others may find challenging but tuk tuks available from town

Wow what a wonderful place
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kandy tonight! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond—the service was genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was exceptionally good, packed with fantastic flavors and clearly prepared with care. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. A must-visit if you are ever in the area!"

Peaceful and lovely stay
Pros:

The staff were great, especially Imantha, Dilrukshi and Pathum, who provided professional and friendly service. The hotel location is perfect, with good views and easy access to the main city area. Overall, I am satisfied with the hotel facilities. And the food is at a satisfactory level.

Confortable stay
Pros:

Big bedroom and comfortable bed.

Cons:

No lift however the staff helps you bring your suitcases up and down. Location up hill, need tuk tuk especially at night.

Pros:

Stay at hotel Cassendra was a really good experience. From the check-in to check-out the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The dinner and the breakfast was awesome. Would like to specially mention Imantha at front desk and Pathum who served as meals, who were attending and fullfilling our needs. I would reccommend this place to anyone who is looking for a calm & friendly stay in Kandy.
