Excellent breakfest with various type of food incl.fruit. A luxurious room is equipped with a tea pot, fridge and toiletries. The hotel is located above a restaurant and it is open in the evening. The Mosel river is just across the street to walk along

It’s not in Luxembourg town, obviously. But the location along the Moselle River is beautiful. For Those travelling with kids, there’s a small playground across the street. The hotel seems to be Chinese operated (with an on-site Asian restaurant). The receptionist waited for me after standard hours, really appreciated. Good value for money!

La situation face à la Moselle, la qualité de la literie et le rapport qualité /prix!
Un peu plus de présence du personnel, entre autres personne au petit déjeuner.
Penser à ne pas faire le nettoyage ( des vitres) pendant que les clients sont en train de déjeuner… Laisser une explication pour l’utilisation de la télévision.

- onthaal was niet goed; gebrek aan communicatie. Moeilijke gesprekken, gebrekkig Engels en Frans.
- bij het ontbijt konden we bij niemand terecht; af en toe kwam er eens iemand vlug kijken. Communiceren ging niet.

- er waren grote straatwerken aan de gang aan de voorkant van het hotel. Dat werd ons niet meegedeeld. Ik vond dat wel jammer.
Personeel spreekt alleen chinees en dat vind ik wel raar in een hotel.
Emplacement de l'hôtel facile d'accès et avec PK gratuit en façade . La chambre était très spacieuse et la literie confortable. Le personnel d'accueil aimable et professionnel.
L'arrivée vers 17H dans le hall de l'hôtel, non chauffé, probablement 15° ? Le pire, l'arrivée en chambre avec les radiateurs fermés et donc une chambre froide ne permettant pas de se déshabiller pour prendre une bonne douche ! Il a fallu attendre la fin de notre dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel pour enfin profiter de la chaleur normale à notre retour en chambre vers 21H !

The bathroom had the worst smell of sewage we have ever smell, but we didn't feel comfortable in talking about it with the staff because they looked shocked and upset when we asked for a spare towel a few minutes prior. One of the corners of the mattress was wet and the room was a bit dusty. The kettle was so full of calcium built up that it was disgusting. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything around. The breakfast is included but it's very poor and low quality, so it's just an excuse to keep the rate high. They ask for a pet fee and yet are not willing to provide anything for it.

The lady at reception - not speaking english - was unable to find the reservations of other guests with the result that we had to translate which was not a problem for us.
However when the turn was our reservation we learned - by talking on phone with the owner - that our reserved premium room was not accessable due to a defected door.
So, we accepted a smaller room but did not get a reimbursement until today.
Later when we went to the restaurant inside the hotel we were told that the chef aleady left and the kitchen is closed.
So, we went to the restaurant next door and there we met other guests from our hotel and everybody told us another story about the closure of the hotel restaurant.
This stay was our 3rd after 2 previous ones which were at our full satisfaction.
Now, after this negative experience we will hesitate to book at whiteswan again but would rather choose the hotel next door - unless we would receive a reasonable explanation of what happened that day.
