Pros:

I loved how close the property was to the lake and that it felt very original. It is still operated by a family and if you wanna feel true Austrian spirit, this is the place to go. If you are going hiking, this is a perfect place to start out From because you have many hikes starting directly from the property.

Traditionelles Hotel in herrlicher Lage als Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen auf der Teichalm.
Pros:

Bodenständiges, traditionelle Unterkunft in herrlicher Lage auf der Teichalm. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, sehr ruhige, komfortable Zimmer und insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption.

Cons:

Das Servierpersonal ist speziell um die Mittagszeit auf der Terrasse des Gasthauses ziemlich überfordert, obwohl sehr bemüht. Hier kommt es zu längeren Wartezeiten.

Der Besuch beim Hotel Teichwirt lohnt sich
Pros:

Tolles Gegend rund um das Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet, der Balkon lud zum draußen sitzen ein. Frühstück und das Abendessen a la Carte ist sehr gut. Wenn man Halbpension zubucht, kostet ein 4-Gänge Abendessen € 12, das ist ein überragendes Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis.
Der Wellness Bereich ist toll ausgestattet mit Dampfbad, Sauna und großem Whirlpool und einem großen Ruheraum. Leider war keine Zeit, um eine Spa Behandlung zu buchen. Wir waren wegen dem Formel 1 Rennen dort, deshalb blieb auch leider keine Zeit, um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden.

Cons:

Abendessen nur bis 19:30 Uhr. Als wir Freitag vom Ring zurück kamen, haben wir aber trotzdem noch a la Carte essen können.
Bei Handtüchern war das Hotel etwas sparsam, das große Badetuch für den Wellness Bereich wurde am nächsten Tag nicht ersetzt, als wir es dort in den Sammelkorb geworfen haben
Aber insgesamt ist das nur Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau

Lovely little hotel
Pros:

beautiful location, friendly staff, excellent home cooked food

Cons:

No aircon in room, no fridge, no tea/coffee facilities in room. I think these should be standard especially given the cost of the room
