Location great for ferry, great host and appreciate luggage storage option as was needed
Pros:

Host was friendly and helped us with luggage storage for a couple of days for our visit to Ithaca, stayed here pre and post that visit. She gave us ground floor rooms due to our luggage and rooms are basic but clean and all we needed.

Pros:

Lovely place to stay in Sami
Pros:

I loved this place! Good location, parking on the street outside, very vintage Greece but very comfortable. Lovely beds, small shower like lots of places, lovely balcony and a fabulous roof terrace. Helen was very friendly and speaks good English,

Very overpriced stay in Sami
Pros:

The location of this hotel is perfect if you are travelling via ferry from or to Sami. It is just few minutes easy walk to the port on fairly flat ground but down a slight hill. Ok if your baggage are on wheels.
The view from the top floor was lovely but we unfortunately had other inconsiderate guests who were so loud talking on the phone we had to go back to our own balcony.

Cons:

Helen on reception could not be less friendly if she tried. We did not feel welcome at all. She gave us the key and did not even tell us which floor, which were up spiral stairs. It turned out she gave us the wrong key so we went up and down...thankfully we left most of our luggage in the car.
The room is straight out of the 70's the photos are exactly correct but smaller. The decor needs revamping. The bathroom was so small it was almost not big enough for 1 person plus there is a shower curtain and since shower is so small it clings to you. The water was like warm so not we were meant to turn a water heater on but no instructions. The bed was hard with a small thin mattress thing on top to try and soften but it did not work.
I am sorry but I do not see how others give this place such a high rating as this is why we stayed here. For the money we paid I expected a lot more. I have been paying similar or less amount for most places through Greece in fact this is one of the more expensive but this is the least value for money. We had a modern studio with kitchenette, a view over harbour and breakfast included in Argostoli for less than the price of this place.I paid 104€ but it is only worth 60€

Pros:

Hotel semplice e accogliente, camera piccola ma pulita e confortevole. A due passi dal centro di Sami, ma allo stesso tempo fuori dalle strade prinicipali. La terrazza in comune al piano superiore ci ha regalato una serata rilassante e piacevolissima, è stata la parte più bella in assoluto! La proprietaria gentilissima. Consigliatissimo.
