Pros:

My parents stayed here for a family funeral, the host was excellent, he made sure he was home to greet them when they arrived, and my mam even rang me while she was there to express how nice and genuine he was. 100% recommend.

Pros:

This is a new venture for this owner and we wish him the best, he deserves it. I booked this because it was the only one in this area that said it was walking distance into town, which it is. It is a private home with only two rooms for rent, each with a private bathroom and coffee/tea in the room. The smaller room has the bath in the hall but still private. You are only renting the bedroom but you may use the garden and deck, parking is free in the front of the house. The owner, Aidan, is the best part of this stay. We usually do not rent in private homes because we are uncomfortable but Aidan is just the opposite. My husband told him that this was like spending the night at a friends house. Aidan told him that was the best compliment he could receive.

Cons:

While it is walkable into town, it is quite a walk. Just be prepared that it will take some time getting there.

Pros:

El anfitrión una maravilla. Llegamos muy tarde con todo cerrado y se ofreció a prepararnos la cena.
Todo muy limpio y muy bien cuidado.
Se nota que le pone cariño .

First visit to Newry
Pros:

Clean and cofortable place to stay.
Owner Aidan was very engaging and helpful.
He gave me a lift into town during the heavy morning rain . This saved me a walk of +35 mins into the centre and kept me dry!

Cons:

Not a real negative but the distance from town and attractions, a 35 minute walk.was a little far
Most people would definitely need a car if staying here.
Having said that, I enjoy walking and would stay here again

Will definitely be back!
Pros:

Aiden was an extremely thoughtful and attentive host. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even hiding small toys around the room for my daughter to find — a simple gesture that made her day. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch as well and capped off what was such an easy and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back!

Family trip away
Pros:

Easy to find. Good location to motorway and local amenities - shops - restaurants. Room was lovely. Spacious clean. Beds comfortable. Ensuite bathroom with shower. Owner was friendly helpful and communicated well even before trip to ensure we had all we needed.

We can't say enough about Aidan and his hospitality. The views were great too!
Pros:

We had breakfast one of the mornings and it was a wonderful Irish breakfast. Aidan was attentive to all our needs.

Cons:

I visited the local library and museum and it was nice walking distance from downtown to our accomodations. The weather was perfect so I didn't have to worry about an umbrella.
