Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at Queensland Hotel in Nuwara Eliya. The room and washroom were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The heater worked well, which made our stay comfortable in the cold weather. The bed was also comfortable and suitable for a good rest.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Roopan and the team gave us a warm welcome and treated us like family. Roopan was especially supportive, helping us arrange transportation, giving useful travel tips, and even assisting with preparing food for our baby, which we truly appreciated.

The location is excellent and very convenient, with Gregory Lake, Keells, Pizza Hut, and Domino’s all nearby.

Overall, a clean and comfortable place with great hospitality and a very convenient location. Recommended for families and travelers visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Pros:

Ons verblijf bij Queensland Hotel was geweldig! We werden heerlijk in de watten gelegd. Al direct bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen met lekkers. En 's avonds is er een overheerlijk diner speciaal voor ons gekookt! Dankjewel, we hebben genoten!

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location for Nuwara Eliya.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The room was good and one of the best I've had for the price in Sri Lanka. They gave me an upgrade when I arrived as they weren't fully booked which was a lovely gesture.

The breakfast was great, its definitely worth trying the Sri Lankan breakfast.

The hotel offered to arrange a tuk tuk for me to get to Ambewela when this wasn't available they took me themselves, they had arranged this before I knew there was an issue. They really did go above my expectations.

Fantastic hotel
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The service was amazing with tea and biscuits on arrival, and the hosts provided everything that we needed. It was very clean and the rooms were really nice. The breakfast was the best we’ve had so far - a lovely traditional Sri Lanka breakfast. We would definitely recommend staying here.

High quality rooms and amenities. Wonderful view from the room.
Pros:

Wonderful view from the room. Very well behaved staffs, high quality rooms and amenities provided. Good English and local breakfast provided every alternative days with good presentation. We had dinner at their restaurant once, it was nicely cooked and presented.

Cons:

Hotel is kind of downhill from the main road and that downhill road was steep. Hence walking to the main road to visit supermarket or to get foods is a bit challenging.

Prima ontbijt. Hotel ligt op een rustige locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is ruim, evenals de badkamer

Je ontbijt en dineert in de hal van het hotel, kan erg tochtig en verstorend zijn als er in en uitgelopen wordt.
