Camera bellissima nel nulla. Ci siamo svegliati con un panorama incredibile dopo una lunga nevicata notturna.
Ci sono anche le renne che ti accolgono appena fuori dalle stanze
Se le condizioni meteo permettono si può vedere un’aurora spettacolare

Bon accueil ! Chambre agréable avec une vue au top ! Le lieu est paisible. Très bon petit déjeuner (pain maison tout chaud ) complet et variés alors que nous étions les seuls à l’hôtel. Merci !

El personal es muy amable. El desayuno perfecto y la ubicación fantástica para ver auroras. Nos quedamos a cenar el día que llegamos y todo estuvo delicioso.

I'd rate it as 11 out of 10, if this was an option. This might have been overall best stay I have ever had, among hundreds of stays all across the world.

1. *very* friendly service. The person running the hotel was going out of her way to make us feel welcome. On the first day we were the only guests (mid February, so i guess low season) and we got such a nice breakfast spread. We were looked after, and asked multiple times if there is anything else we'd like. It felt like visiting family.

2. the hotel is nice. it a bit dry on the outside, but inside its warm, cozy, with a great common area - and comfy beds. the location is breathtaking. you are in the middle of the icelandic highlands, you feel like you are on some arctic research outpost :-)

3. we were trying to catch some northern lights and we were rewarded - there is not a lot of light pollution in the area, and it was trivial to make good photos. The one attached to this review didn't really require a lot of trying.

4. for bonus point, there is a semi-domesticated reindeer roaming the lands, and it was quite na experience.

we visited in February. it was easy driving from the main road - the 8km gravel road has markings on the side and got some winter service - despite heavy snow 2 days earlier it was easily passable.

We were looking for somewhere to stay that was relatively remote and away from the crowds. We certainly chose right. What a perfect location. We felt at home and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was so very cozy and quiet. We loved it! Dinner the first night was exquisite. Everything so fresh and delicious. Breakfast was just great. We were definitely sorry to leave after three glorious nights. Will recommend highly and certainly stay there again.

Tout, le lieu est magnifique au milieu de la nature, la chambre moderne avec accès à un salon commun très cocooning. Le personnel est attentionné. Il y a la possibilité de se promener autour de la ferme et d'y rencontrer divers animaux.

This is an exceptional hotel for a good value! Just off of Route 1 it is in a wonderful location off the beaten path in a quiet beautiful setting. The rooms are in a newer modern building and the views are magnificent. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. It exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is nice and breakfast is good. It's located in a quiet small hamlet with a church. The building with the modern new rooms is separate from the older farmhouse that houses the restaurant. It's connected with a board walk. This was one of my favorite stays in Iceland. Highly recommend!
