Franz is incredible to work with. His apartment is lovely and had everything we needed. We only used the kitchen area to eat convenient breakfast foods so didn’t need to cook. The views of the ocean from both windows are remarkable. Two bath towels and two beach towels are provided. They were extra long, which we appreciated. For a small and reasonable price, we were able to push back our checkout time by two hours, so were able to enjoy time at the pool before catching our flight. This was such a nice little gift. There is a little patio area that you can relax on while watching the waves or the pool. From there, you can walk down the stairs to the pool or continue on down to the ocean. The pool was nice and clean. There are showers to rinse sand and salt water off as you walk up the stairs back to the pool area from the beach. We stayed in July. The waves were pretty strong, but there were plenty of people who were out in them. We are now missing both the view and sound of the waves that put us to sleep each night. It was really neat to see the turtle nesting sites that are protected near this resort and along the beach. On a morning walk, we saw large pits turtles had dig to lay eggs and then waddled back to the ocean. That was really amazing to see. It’s a 20 minute beach walk from the resort to Playa Delfine. There is an on-site, mini convenience store and an Oxxo convenience store a short walk away. Navíos restaurant is also a short walk. We had two amazing dinners here. The food and ambience are fantastic. We also ate at the 19.5 KM restaurant right next to Oxxo, and it was also delicious. Though the resort needs a good painting, the pool and restaurant facilities are clean and nice. There are some beautiful, unique architectural designs on the side of the building where this apartment is located.
This was my first time to Mexico, so remembering to have a bottle of water to brush my teeth and rinse my toothbrush off took some thinking each time. It would be great to have some freshwater on site. There was a large container that had a small amount of what I assumed was freshwater, but no information about it, so we just left it alone. To use the second pool that is above the restaurant, you have to pay a certain amount of money to be used to purchase drinks. We didn’t know this and were enjoying the rooftop pool until we got kicked out.
