We spent a week at Lyrids Apartments in Episkopi and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The lovely hosting family made us feel like friends rather than guests — always kind, warm, and genuinely helpful. The apartment was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the pool area was not only clean but also a beautiful place to relax and unwind. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, yet we were just a short drive from the beach and local tavernas. This is one of those places that stays in your heart, and we can’t wait to come back! PS. For you foodies out there, the olive oil on the counter comes from the olive trees in the garden just outside. What a treat! DS.

Cons:

Missing a shower squeegee — might be a Swedish thing. More hooks, hangers, and an outlet splitter would be a nice bonus — probably also a Swedish thing. Overall, nothing major to dislike.

Pros:

Beautiful new apartment at a very good location. Very nice and friendly people. Perfect location for different trips to lake Kourna, Argyropouli waterfalls, Spili, old town Rethymnon, Chania, etcetera. Beautiful beach and supermarket nearby.
Our host Manolis and his family were very kind and helpful.

Cons:

we would have liked a longer stay..

The stay in this accommodation was more than pleasant. Everything is new, clean, tidy. The beach is 5 minutes away. Beautiful place and courtyard with swimming pool. The hosts are kind, good, cordial. All recommendations for this accommodation.
