Pros:

After 5 days in the hotel I can easily say it's the best place I stayed so far. It ticked all the boxes for me. Very friendly and helpful owners that made us feel almost like home. Spacious and nicely decorated with animal photos apartment type rooms, that hold a great bathroom and incredibly useful kitchen annex. Great area for people who love nature, wild places and peace and quiet.

If you don't need fancy restaurants and don't mind driving to the nearest bigger store 25km, you'll be in heaven. It's a wild country, not much civilization around, be warned.

The hotel is located very close to the lake (like almost all buildings in that area I believe) and offers a very pleasant view from the interesting lobby where you can have a very tasty breakfast offered by the owners. Ours even included some homemade products.

What I loved the most were our chats with the owners, Willem and Ria and a guidebook I found out in the room with 30 most interesting wild places in Jamtaland. Highly enjoyable stay, go find out yourself!
