Pros:

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. Stunning bedrooms & bathrooms. Excellent shower. Loved the heated rail in bathroom. Beautiful view of lake from bedroom. The interior at reception is very Canadian like etc cabin/chalet vibes. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We both thought she was fantastic. Pasta & cocktails were great. Breakfast was delicious, fantastic as we both were given a made to order breakfast, got to pick anything off the menu. Lovely staff at breakfast. We both loved the outdoor pool. We both can’t wait to return.

Enjoyable. A returning guest who will continue to return. Customer service needs attention though.
Pros:

Decor and facilities were exceptional. Appreciated the selection of wines

Cons:

Menu is limited and very niche. Definitely on the rich side in terms sauces and flavours. Would like a salad option for the mains. Customer service needs some attention. A more friendly approach would be well received.

Pleasant stay overall but not worth the price tag
Pros:

The scenery and grounds are fabulous! We were blessed with the weather which meant we could take advantage of the outdoor pool and rowboats etc. it’s a great place to enjoy with the family or as a couple although the service and food let the experience down. That said some of the staff were great help with heating baby food etc but overall service left a lot to be desired

Cons:

The food is shocking. The menus were extremely limited across the board and the overall flavour lacked significantly. To say a ham and cheese toastie was the nicest thing I ate across our stay speaks volumes, and with that said there was nothing special about it. The venue is understaffed, it’s near impossible to get through to reception prior to your stay, and service was extremely slow throughout our staff , particularly on the terrace where it was taking 20 minutes plus to get a drink or food order in and then at least another 15-20 before said food order drink is given to you. We also had an odd interaction where we were given the wrong wine and when this was raised the server , he make little to no effort to rectify the issue and instead made us speak to the bar staff ourselves. When speaking to the bar staff, they refused point blank that the wine was incorrect as they poured the wine they were quote “told to pour” and continued to state this even though the name of the wine the poured differed to the wine listed on the menu. They did correct it in the end and were apologetic but it was such an odd back and forth given the fact that they were holding the bottle that clearly had a very different name and grape to the one ordered.

Cet hôtel est une usine ! Pas un hôtel de charme au bord du lac !
Très bruyant ! On entend la conversation des gens au dessus dans la bouche d aération ! Les portes qui claquent dans le couloir !
L accueil … ni bonjour, ni au revoir à la réception et dans le restaurant
La propreté ( poire de la lampe de chevet pleine de poussière)
Le petit dejeuner… buffet basique et de qualité médiocre

Not worth the hype
Pros:

Comfortable and spacious rooms.

Cons:

Limited dinner/bar menu and breakfast was very disappointing. Restaurant staff didn't seem to like their jobs. Also, difficult to identify who was working there as they all wore casual clothing.
