Ruhiges Hotel in entspannender Umgebung
Pros:

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel in wunderschöner Umgebung. Ausstattung sehr gut, auch das Frühstück. Zimmer war angenehm groß. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant. Großer Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel.

Cons:

Spa kostet extra, überteuert für die Ausstattung. Ausstattung des Raumes nicht hochwertig, z.B. Boden aus Laminat.

Awesome night. Super peaceful and relaxing.
Pros:

Loved everything. Great hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. Spa was great. We were upgraded to a bigger room than I booked which was really appreciated. Would absolutely go back. Plus the surrounding area and it's historical background is really interesting.

Cons:

The TVs in the room weren't working very well, but that was minor for us.

Take advantage of the Spa
Pros:

This was the last of five Fosshotel's that we stayed in during our visit to Iceland. We stayed during the week and it was busy, we could see that over a weekend it would be very busy. A feature of the hotel is the spa and sauna - this came at an extra cost but was very enjoyable and worth it. It would appear that they do not overbook at dinner and table availability is governed by staff availability. This was good. It is advisable to book for dinner. The dinner menu across the Fosshotel's is fairly consistent - lamb, chicken, fish with a few other options. Breakfast in the morning is a buffet and was well presented. The dinner buffet was the most varied of any of the hotels that we stayed in
