A lovely escape in Farosund
Pros:

Amazing 'modern' building with a history dating back to the Crimean War - fascinating. We had fun playing petanque and pool, and enjoyed walking in the nature reserve next door. Small spa area with a small pool and nice sauna. Nice breakfast, including making your own waffles! Lovely places to swim nearby, including the coast near Ar and the Blue Lagoon.

Cons:

Restaurant does not serve dinner in the low season (from mid-August onwards), which we'd been unaware of... and despite the notice in our room inviting us to book a table for dinner with a QR code to the menu :-/

Absolut empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig, wenn man den Norden Gotlands und die Insel Fårö erkunden möchte. Man erhält im Vorhinein einen Code um in sein Zimmer zu kommen - hat wunderbar funktioniert. Die ganze Anlage + die Aufenthaltsräumen sind sehr schön und laden ein auch genützt zu werden. Genügend gratis Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Frühstück war das Beste, welches wir auf ganz Gotland erhalten haben. Viele Schmankerl!
Jederzeit wieder!

Cons:

Es gab im Zimmer kein Fenster. Für uns als Frischluftfanatiker relativ schlimm. Da es aber im Hotel sehr ruhig war, öffneten wir die Zimmertür um zu lüften!

Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt in alter Festungsanlage
Pros:

Der ganze Aufenthalt war außergewöhnlich! Halt eine alte Festungsanlage zu einem kleineren Hotel umgewandelt, welches sehr gut gelungen ist und deshalb eine coole Atmosphäre hat.
das Frühstück war immer sehr liebevoll bereitet und auch sehr reichhaltig.

Besonderes Hotel im Norden der Insel
Pros:

Außergewöhnliche Lage und Architektur in einer Festung aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück, schöne Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge auf die Nachbarinsel Fårö und in den Norden der Insel.

Cons:

Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, die Fenster zu öffnen, die Klimaanlage funktioniert aber gut ;-)

Fantastisk morgenmad og fantastiske bygninger og lokation

Cons:

Der var ikke meget rent på værelset. Personalet var sødt, men virkede ikke så professionelt. Vi skulle selv tjekke ind og orientere os da vi ankom, selv om personale var til stede (i en sofa)
