RockyHouse Homestay

I didn't get to stay there as I mentioned, so I don't have much to say.
If you go there follow the location then call the host or ask for the entrance photo cuz it's a bit hard to find
Be prepared for the 'Homestay' concept, shared kitchen and toilets. IO think this one is close to Assala beach but you need to take a ride for the lighthouse.

Biggest thing was the heat of the room, it was always too hot. one tiny window with broken bug screen. We were woken up every night by the heat needing to open the door and let more mosquitoes into the room. the beds were both uncomfortable, one very hard and one so old the springs were the only thing present in the mattress, no foam or anything. No included breakfast as stated on booking, the kitchens were both very dirty, kitchen pots filled with dust and congealed fat/ oil from who knows when and most things broken or barely functional. The shower room drain smelt mildly of sewage. Not super clean. Dirty dishes around the yard. Rubbish and broken things everywhere. Places to sit were smelly, broken and dirty from animals. Probably not 100% the fault of Rocky house but one day there were a tonne of big rocks and wood with nails sticking out of it in the pool probably from some of the long term guests kids and it was murky or green water most days.
Has potential but at the moment is very poorly managed and resourced.

🫧 🪥: It's not that clean. For that price you can get a better service. No soap 🧼 in the bathroom. There is no proper cleaning stuff. The owner asked me what I need to feel comfortable but I think basic stuff should be given.

Breakfast 🍳: The owner forgot to inform me about the breakfast. I asked for compensation, because I paid for it. He ignored my request for compensation. But the staff did a really generous Egyptian breakfast.

Rooms 🛏️; it's so lala. Not that comfortable. You can get better rooms for that price..

But the place was really quiet. It has a pool and cute animals.

В номере и на кровати был песок, одна кровать была очень твердая, на второй я пересчитала ребрами все пружины. Уличный туалет, что ближе к нам, нам сказали не посещать, потому что там грязно, а ходить в дальний в общее здание, а там всего один унитаз и душ, что создает риск очередей.

Самое главное, из-за чего снизила оценку - не было обещанного завтрака, а это было ключевым при выборе места размещения, не было обещанных полотенец, хорошо что с собой были свои, и не было туалетной бумаги в санузлах, пришлось ехать и покупать салфетки. Также не было заявленного шкафа в номере. Нам, как заехавшим на 1 день, это было не критично, но тем не менее это несоответствие описанию. Кухня очень старая и неуютная на вид, мне не хотелось бы ею пользоваться. Холодильник большой, но он один на всех, мы заглянули, он забит.

Gotta be cleaner overall. Bathroom needed a lot of cleaning.
The listing says fitness room and breakfast included, but those did not exist.
