Cons:

Hard to find, owners dont even bother to put a clear sign helping guests locate it easily.
Toilet has to be locked with a key after each use. This place is in a basement giving it a gloomy dungeon feel..

Would recommend travellers the other budget places in town for a proper stay

Take shared taxi to Hasmi chowk, 20 rp. Homestay right next to Joi Store Venus More, no sign, ask.
Pros:

From SNT bus station head south (right) 1.8 km along Hill Cart Road just out front, to Hasmi Chowk, 20 rp shared taxi, or walk. This homestay not on google, but right next to Joi Store Venus More, search. No sign out front.
Three bed dorm is dark, quiet, even though main noisy chowk outside. Ceiling fan good. Good geyzer/shower water pressure. Standard toilets clean, with sprayer, no paper. Handsoap, sink.They dont always change sheets after guests, they changed mine. Good location at main intersection of Hill Cart Rd and Bidhan.

Pros:

A great location - venus more
The landlords here are so kind
I came here mainly to save myself from the sound based torture and carnage there, and this pg fits in that criteria big big time
Regarding sound, one would occasionally find vehicle sounds from the adjacent road and some mosque prayer sounds
The perfect destination i needed

Pros:

Good rooms neet nd clean. Homestay owner very co-operative nd kind.You feel like you are at home.🏡 All are good but bathroom is not attached shared toilet and bathroom.You can stay here without any tension.

The owner cancelled the trip a few hours before ariving. I didnt realized it until i was there. At the place, there was nothing - also behind the shop- I aked around and also the neighbors didnt knew anything
