Modern und gegmütlich. Hotel mit Charme
Pros:

Toll ausgestattet Hotel, Fitnessraum, Infinity Pool. Sehr geräumige und komfortable Zimmer. Und das gesamte Personal freundlich , aufmerksam und Mühlviertlerisch authentisch!!

Pros:

The rooms are nice and clean . The breakfast was great and the bar had a nice vibe.

Cons:

There are no phones in the room. So you only rely on your own mobile if you need anything to contact them. Otherwise you need to keep going to the reception.
I couldn't find the WiFi code in the room and had to go downstairs to ask the receptionist. Again there are no phones in the room.

I thought would have been nice of them to explain about all these before giving out the key .
Didn't know where breakfast room is again had to go around to find out. Which find there are a sign , but would have been part of the reception job to give out all the details before handing the key and saying goodbye.
There are no kettles in the room.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist einfach etwas ganz besonderes. Von der Rezeption über die Zimmer bis zum Abendessen bietet jedes Einzelteil etwas ganz spezielles. Wir sind absolut begeistert.

Erholsamer Urlaub und ein perfektes "Rund-Um Paket" aus Gold" by Impulshotel Freigold :-)
Pros:

Das Hotel mit seinem Infinity-Pool (bis 22 Uhr nutzbar, Schwimmen unter Sternenhimmel) & der tollen Saunabereich im 9.Stockwerk. Der zweite Wellnessbereich mit Pool-Sauna Gartenhaus im EG und betreuten Saunaaufgüssen.
Das tollen Panorama Restaurant, wo man Frühstücken geht. Das leckere Frühstückbuffet mit viel Auswahl. Die moderne Einrichtung. Das freundliches Personal. Überall im Haus ist es sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Das sensationelle Massage, Kosmetikangebot. Die vielfältige Saunalandschaft inkl. toller Rückzugbereiche mit Flair. Viel liebe zum Detail im ganzen Hotel, z.b. die Motivations-Sprüche und die Karikatur Ausstellung im Stiegenhaus. Da nimmt man gern die Stiegen und nicht einen der drei Lifte ;-)
Die Yoga- und Pilatesstunde und das sonstige Rahmenprogramm. Die gute Lage zur Altstadt sowie zur Brauerei.

Cons:

Das schwarze WC hat mich am Zimmer irritiert. Aber das ist definitiv "Geschmackssache" und eine persönliche Wahrnehmung von mir und nicht als Kritik zu verstehen!
Black ist nun Mal aktuell ein Einrichtungsmodetrend und es muss nicht jedermann gefallen.

Fühlte mich heuer nur bedingt wohl im Freigold
Pros:

Ich war das dritte Jahr in Folge auf einer Messe in Freistadt und bin jedes Mal im Freigold zu Gast gewesen. Hauptgrund ist die Nähe zur Messe, die Tiefgarage, gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal, ansprechendes Ambiente des Hotels.

Cons:

Wie oben schon geschrieben, war ich beruflich zu Gast und nicht zum Urlauben. Allerdings nutzte ich auch am Nachmittag und am Abend Pool und Sauna. Dieses Mal war die Anzahl der Tagesgäste beim Frühstück und auch im Schwimm- Sauna und Spa- Bereich stark zu merken. War mir in den letzten Jahre nicht so bewusst aufgefallen. Finde ich als Urlaubsgast nicht besonders toll, gerade bei den Preisen. Mir ist bewusst, dass der Inhaber für eine Auslastung sorgen muss. Aber meinem Empfinden nach geht das zu Lasten der Hotelgäste. Ab 18:30 nur mehr eine Sauna und der Pool im 9. Stock nutzbar. Sprich nach dem die Tagesgäste das Haus verlassen müssen. Es waren jeden Abend im Pool und Sauna Bereich bekleidete Personen unterwegs die sich und die Anlage filmten und fotografierten. Vielleicht bin ich zu alt. Aber mich nervte das massiv. Für mich ist diese Entwicklung ein Grund nächstes Jahr wahrscheinlich nicht mehr zu kommen und mich um eine andere Unterkunft umzuschauen.
