A great find, in a fabulous countryside location
Pros:

I was trying the find a nice base for a few nights between coming over the Øresund bridge and heading to Götland on the ferry from Oskerhamm. So glad I discovered this place - and I didn't even have time to use the spa! Beautiful, quiet setting, with a lovely big, comfortable room, surrounded by nature, and linked to lots of walking and cycle routes. The breakfast offering was extensive, and I ate in the restaurant one evening, which was very good. The wider area has lots to offer, including a half an hour drive to Kalmar and the island of Öland, which is definitely worth a visit. You could easily spend a week exploring, and relaxing in equal measure. The short walk along the coastal inlet from the hotel to the ancient oak tree, was a post-breakfast treat.

Cons:

I did feel the bathroom was a bit old fashioned, but it was spotlessly clean, and had lovely toiletries! :)

Pros:

Trevliga rum och suverän personal, mycket bra mat och en avverkad bästa frukostarna vi ätit, detta i kombination med läget ger ett boende som gör att vi gärna kommer tillbaka till.

Et dejligt gæstgiveri i dejligt naturområde. Men MEGET UTILFREDSSTILLENDE oplevelse som gæst , ikke at få det bookede de

Vi var der sidste år og var meget tilfredse .

Cons:

Vi havde booket gennem Booking.com . Et Superior dobbeltværelse med udsigt til haven og havde modtaget en bekræftelse herpå . Ved ankomst får vi tildelt et mørkt og KOLDT kælderværelse med et mikroskopisk vindue højt placeret og uden udsigt.
Det blev så byttet til endnu et kælderværelse , dog med vindue.
Stuvfenäs Gæstgiveri’s forklaring var , at der var fuldt booket, kunne ikke tilbyde andet til trods , at vi kunne forevise vores bekræftelse på et superior dobbeltværelse!
De mente , at fejlen lå hos Booking.com ?
Der var ingen tilbud om kompensation af nogen art .

Ved udcheckning møder jeg gæster fra Schweiz, som er ved at checke ind og de oplever nøjagtig samme situation!

Läget, maten, personalen, servicen ja allt var riktigt bra utom rummet och dess badrum.

Cons:

Hade ett loft-rum vars badrum var så liten/trångt att det knappt gick att sätta sig på toaletten. Rummet låg också i anslutning till soptunnorna och tömning av dessa skedde både högljutt och tidigt på morgonen.

Så fint ställe för både avkoppling och aktiv semester med utmärkt kök.
Pros:

Detta är ett så fint ställe som egentligen är värt en egen resa. Man har verkligen utnyttjat sitt fina läge och här finns massa fin natur att vandra i och man har tagit fram bra rekommendationer. Man kan också verkligen koppla av i det fina SPA:t. Vi hade hunden med och han blev så väl omhändertagen också. Vi åt också middag och den var utmärkt och även en fin frukost.
