Für einen Aufenthalt im Waldviertel oder der Wachau sehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Gut bürgerlich und doch aussergewöhnlich. Weg vom Trubel der Wachau mit seinen Tagestouristen und doch nah genug. Das Frühstück war mega.

Wonderful cozy place
Pros:

We loved the way owners treated their customers and we also really enjoyed the authentic atmosphere of Austria! We would definitely go there if we will cross that region

Fabulous!
Pros:

The host, Maria was very friendly and ensure that we had everything in place. Breakfast was traditional Austrian 😋. The place was beautiful beyond expectation.

Pros:

What a wonderful find. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with the warm Austrian hospitality. I was given a lovely, spacious room with balcony and even considered extending my stay because I was so comfortable, but was only staying for one night.

The breakfast is fantastic, no buffet but everything read on the table, with the exception of butter that was brought when I sat down so it would be fresh, and the hot drinks

I cannot fault the property or the owners in any way and will happily return on a future occasion

Food and drink are excellent and the property is not overpriced either

Cons:

absolutely nothing. This is one of the properties where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend-wonderful

Inn in the hills above the Danube is OK for a 1-night stay.
Pros:

Dinner was local cooking: a watery pork stew with potatoes--interesting but I would not order it again. Buffet breakfast was OK but not at all special except for superb hot chocolate, made with 100% cocoa instead of overly sugary Nesquik or an equally awful equivalent. The server at breakfast was pleasant and efficient.

Cons:

The bells of a nearby church rang loudly every 15 minutes night and day. The shower enclosure was tiny--75 x 75 cm and the water controls projected about 30 cm into the space. There were flies all over, especially in the dining room, and the hotel was prepared: there were fly swatters all around for guests to use.
