Das Zimmer war groß, geräumig und hatte alles was man braucht. Es gab sogar Insektengitter vor den Fenstern. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich.
Das gesamte Haus ist generell sehr schön eingerichtet und die Vermieterin sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, es gibt ein gewisses "Nach-Hause-kommen"-Gefühl.

We had a wonderful stay at Kissos Inn. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, with a lovely view and plenty of peace and quiet. Our host, Eleni, was amazing, and the entire staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. We even received a small farewell gift, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Άνετα κρεβάτια, πλουσιο πρωινό και εξαιρετική φιλοξενία. Δοκιμάστε οπωσδήποτε τα τοπικά προιόντα και ειδικά τις μαρμελάδες της ιδιοκτήτριας. Το χριστουγεννιάτικο μενού του εστιατορίου ήταν ότι καλύτερο. Ένα διαμάντι στην καρδιά του Κισσού!

The owner is very welcoming and charming, she had great recommendations on what we should visit in the region during our stay. The restaurant has excellent homemade food. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will come back for sure!

Απόλυτη ησυχία στην καρδιά του παραδοσιακού Κισσού! Το κατάλυμα ήταν απλό, καθαρό, ΑΥΘΕΝΤΙΚΟ και φιλόξενο. Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο, καθαρό, ζεστό και ευρύχωρο με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν για μια σύντομη διαμονή. Κάθε πρωί, μέχρι να ξυπνήσει η κόρη μας, φτιάχναμε το καφεδάκι μας και το απολαμβάναμε στο μπαλκόνι με την υπέροχη θέα. Τα κρεβάτια ήταν πολύ άνετα και τα λευκά είδη καινούργια και προσεγμένα. Το πρωινό ήταν πεντανόστιμο και πλούσιο και η εξυπηρέτηση γρήγορη και πάντα με χαμόγελο. Το εστιατόριο σερβίρει παραδοσιακές πηλιορείτικες συνταγές και ό,τι φάγαμε ήταν υπέροχο. Μην χάσετε το σπετσοφάι! Στο κοινόχρηστο σαλονάκι θα βρείτε μια πολύ όμορφη γωνιά για όλη την οικογένεια με επιτραπέζια, φανταστικά βιβλία και κόμικ, τζάκι και την προσωπική πινελιά των ιδιοκτητών στη διακόσμηση. Γενικά, είναι το μέρος που θες να γυρνάς μετά τις βόλτες στο μαγικό Πήλιο, να ανάβεις το τζάκι, να πίνεις ένα τσιπουράκι και να ηρεμεί η ψυχή και το σώμα. Η Ελένη και η Σοφία είναι δυο υπέροχες οικοδέσποινες που μας φέρθηκαν με τον πιο όμορφο και φιλόξενο τρόπο αλλά ο σταρ του καταλύματος είναι ο σκυλάκος, ο Φρίξος! Το μέρος ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας και θέλουμε σίγουρα να επιστρέψουμε.

Wir waren eine Woche in der Nebensaison da (Ende Oktober). Wir wollten wandern, bei gutem Wetter noch ein wenig baden gehen, und lokale Spezialitäten genießen. Erstmal könnte der Ort, bzw. die Lage des Hotels dafür nicht besser sein. Zum Meer ist es nicht weit und Wanderrouten gehen quasi direkt am Hotel los.
Was uns aber mehr als überwältigt hat war die Gastfreundschaft von Eleni, Phrixos und Ihrem tollen Team. Danke für diese sagenhaften Tage!!!
Für Leckmäulchen gibt es zum Frühstück lokale Spezialitäten. Wer süß mag, bekommt hausgemachte Marmeladen und Kekse und der Honig kommt aus der Nachbarschaft. Aber selbst wer sonst nicht herzhaft frühstückt, muss unbedingt die Tyrokoulouri probieren! Dabei aber ein Hinweis: Kissos ist ein Bergdorf mit nur wenigen Einwohnern, fertige Croissants oder ähnliches sollte man also nicht zum Frühstück erwarten (wie wohl am gesamten Pilion nicht), aber dafür gibt es haus- und handgemachtes, statt aufgebackenen Fertigwaren. Also einfach mal Gast sein und sich inspirieren lassen. Aber Vorsicht vor den Mengen, denn die sind morgens, wie abends selbst für Vielesser eine Herausforderung :-)
Die Taverne schließt zwar offiziell um 21 Uhr, aber weder Dimitrios, noch Eleni haben selbst diejenigen nicht hungrig nach Hause gehen lassen, die erst um 20:45 Uhr ankamen. Wer im Herbst da ist: Unbedingt die Kastana Stifado probieren!!!
Ansonsten ist die Versorgung im Ort selbst in der Nebensaison möglich. Es gibt kleine Läden mit Lebensmitteln und in der Zufahrt zum Dorf gibt es Snacks und Kaffee. Elenis Taverne hat durchgehend ab Mittag geöffnet.

Kissos Inn is a fabulous place to stay. Eleni, the owner is a wonderful host. She is very hands-on in running the hotel and she made us feel to be special, valued guests.
The hotel opens directly onto the tree-shaded village square and has the feel of the village inn. Our room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed, and had a balcony with a small table and two chairs. If awake very early, we could watch the dawn break over the sea, which is a couple of miles away. There are a number of cozy sitting areas around the hotel.
The hotel restaurant is open all day and until late. The kitchen staff produce wonderful freshly cooked food, using the best local ingredients. Eleni was on hand to recommend dishes and take us through local specialities. There is a comprehensive menu supplemented by several "dishes of the day". There are several cafes and restaurants nearby but we felt no need to eat or drink elsewhere in Kissos. Breakfast was served on the sunny veranda. It consisted of a mixture of local speciality dishes, including feta cheese and spinach pie, fried eggs on greens, and feta cheese and honey pie, with fresh bread and homemade preserves, greek yoghurt, sweet biscuits, and lots of coffee.
There are good walks from the hotel, through the chestnut and apple orchards - Eleni was on hand to advise. Nearby beachs are wonderful and, whilst they are are near as the crow flies, they are a pleasant half-an-hour's drive away along twisty but quiet raods.

The accommodation is perfectly located in the heart of the village. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and offer breathtaking views. The breakfast is delicious, and the homemade dishes are simply outstanding. Mrs. Eleni is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!

The owner really cares about this hotel and the food and it shines through. Well done

I was mortified to discover on check-in that I'd mixed up my booking dates and should have checked in the night before, but Eleni handled it so smoothly and without any fuss which I am so grateful for.
The Inn is exceptionally pleasant with easy parking and a lovely outlook onto the village square. Great sized room with a balcony and good internet.
All in all an extremely pleasant stay.
