Excellent hotel, lobby bar was amazing, breakfast was good, the rooms slightly on the small side. The spa is exceptional and unbelievable value, you have to do it.
Only complaints are breakfast finished at 10 and by 9:50 half of it had been packed away including the coffee. I’m not sure what the big rush was. Tv kept playing the hotels promotional video every 5 minutes whilst trying to watch the World Cup.

Dear Hotel Team,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment following my recent stay at your hotel. From the outset, the experience fell far below what was promised and expected, and I feel compelled to outline several key issues that contributed to this.
Firstly, the hotel was clearly overbooked and understaffed, which led to considerable discomfort for guests. I was shocked to witness homeless individuals on the second floor eating food from containers. Additionally, the presence of several loud parties created an overcrowded and uncomfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was extremely stressful, with queues stretching beyond reasonable limits and a dining area that was far too crowded.
The spa facilities, which had been marketed as a highlight of your hotel, were dirty and equally overcrowded. It really seems as if those responsible for the hotel’s promotional materials have not visited the premises recently, given the stark contrast between the marketing and reality.
To make matters worse, we received two parking tickets because the check-in staff failed to take our registration number upon arrival, which is an oversight I would not expect from a four-star establishment. We requested a late check-out for 12pm, which should have been complimentary, yet we were charged for this, along with an additional £30 per person per room—again, not the level of courtesy one would anticipate from a hotel of your supposed standing.
Now, I am being chased for payment of a mini-bar bill and the late check-out fee, despite the circumstances described above. In light of all these issues, I strongly request that these charges be waived and that you provide a comprehensive explanation for the poor service and conditions experienced during my stay.
